Pioneer does, however this is one of those cases where SGB blows away Pioneer in music.... The pioneer version has a really bad flute melody line and sounds like casio compared to SGB...

(I never thought I'd ever have to say that...)

Flute melody no worse than any DK track if not lesser heard!

True, but the music in comparison is shameful. It's very uncharacteristic to have Pioneer sound this bad.

Hey I drive a Ford. Neighbor drives a Chevy and wouldn't be caught dead in my Ford. Other neighbor drives a Dodge - hates Fords and Chevys. Mmhhhh. Who's right?

Me! I hate Cadillacs. I've never seen one where the driver didn't act brain dead. I think it's something in the upholstery that out-gasses and get's 'em stoned.

I don't believe that it's a matter of "right."

Granted that the tracks you choose to include in your library are entirely up to you, I'm not about to list a track that is grossley incorrect/inferior and that would be my decision of what is "right."

I also have to think about the rest of the audience. Most (to use the term loosely) karaoke tracks are designed to "sound like the original" whether it's a radio version or an album version. I believe it's important for the "majority" (another loose term) to hear what is the most recognizable.

This doesn't mean that I would ever switch and album cut for a radio version because that's not the criteria. However, I would NOT list a crappy version of a song (like the Pioneer version mentioned above) for a much better version (even if it's SGB) just because it puffs up the appearance of the library.

I like buying Pop Hits Monthly, but what you actually get is "Sing It Now". The music has been very good but I do have these gripes:

1) Lyrics display very small, compared to CB or SC. Maybe not everyone could read it.

2) Late lyric display after an instrumental break was noticed on a couple songs. The words were displayed barely in time.

3) No timing assistance like the countdown dashes on CB or SC. Also no lead-ins added to help start the song on time/in time if a song has singing before any music, or immediately starting with the music.
