Looking particularly for
Les Miserable & Moulin Rouge!

For broadway, I suggest Pocket Songs. None better, and biggest selection. My Tuesday night show is a lesbian club, with lots of singers that love the broadway tunes. I have a mix of Legends, Priddis and Pocket Songs. And by far, hands down, Pocket Songs wins by a landslide.

I looked at the PS disc #1350, however it is stated as 'no graphics'. This is on PS own site. Some of the retailers mark that disc as having graphics - wondering if this was one they had lost sync rights to and just re-released as music? Maybe Oceantracks can shed some light on that one.

I just looked, that is the one that I have. Yes, it DOES have the lyrics. Unless it was from another release, you should be ok. The music is pretty dang close on that disc.

You just can't beat Pocket Songs for their Broadway/Show Tunes, and their big band selections.
Lonnie, I have PS-1350 and it has graphics.

We have for Moulin Rouge, it's on Sunfy Gold GD048 and Les Mis we have it on a few Xtreme Professional Broadway (XPKBW) discs. You can get them in a 10 disc set. Hope this helps.

Just Tracks is just part of Pocket Songs, same company, just another line. The numbers of the discs usually go something like PSJT-****

Just Tracks IS Pocket Songs.... The only difference is, Just Tracks does not produce the Multiplex tracks, so, you get more songs on the discs.
Lonnie... I have "Les Mis" on PS 1016 and 1350. Both of them have Graphics. One song that I feel they did in the wrong key is "Bring Him Home." Priddis did it in the right key, but too up-tempo, and Pocket Songs did it in the right tempo, but too low (I take it Up 3 on the Key Changer, although it probably needs to be taken up 5 to be correct).
Pocket Songs/Just Tracks is the Number 1 choice in my books for Broadway musicals.
Stage Stars is a good 2nd place choice.
Sound Choice CAN'T do Broadway justice... Other than their "Hair" and "Rocky Horror Picture Show" discs, I wouldn't get anything else from them that's Broadway.... And I'm still disappointed that SC cut the musical interlude (where Columbia does her tap dance routine) in "Time Warp."

Since I eat sleep and live broadway...I would suggest Pocket Song and Stage Stars.
Pocket Songs will be coming out with the Broadway Musical.."NEXT TO NORMAL"...very soon.....it won 3 tony awards this past year.
I would love to see the musical "TOMMY" come out on karaoke!!!

Well, I agree with everyone on Pocket Songs - that's my first choice when looking for a Broadway track. I also have their Les Mis disc and am pretty happy with it. I'm less enthusiastic about Stage Stars. Some of their more current recordings are better, but, tempos, arrangements, and instrument quality (sounds VERY synthesized) on some of their earlier releases (specifically, their Les Mis and Wicked releases) aren't very good/accurate. When looking for anything Broadway, I'd go with PS first and Priddis would be my second choice. In any case - no matter WHAT company - definitely check any audio samples you can get first. Even PS has put out one or two things that aren't as good as another company's version of the same song.

As has been suggested, Les Miz and Moulin Rouge are available from PS.
You did say:

It is rare when people who do show tunes don't bring their own discs. And that's good because most KJ's have a poor selection.
There are some show tunes in the PartyPak2, but they're not too good. Legends #09 is all show tunes but I wouldn't recommend most of the tracks. The words, for example, for America from West Side Story are almost ridiculous!
The best disc I have is from Party Tyme SYB1641. And all but one of the tracks are pretty good. While it is tolerable, I am not crazy about "The Impossible Dream"
From Flower Drum Song
I Enjoy Being A Girl
From Man From LaManch
The Impossible Dream
From The King & I
I Have Dreamed
From Oklahoma
Oklahoma
From Porgy & Bess
Summertime
From Sound of Music
Sound of Music and Edelweiss
From West Side Story
Somewhere
