I would venture to say that exactly ZERO of those songs will ever be sung past April 2010. I hate new releases, a waste of $$$ if you ask me!!
Wait for the seasonal/yearly compilations!!

Have not heard any of these songs... very doubtful anyone will request them to sing.

The new release discs have always been hit or miss. Again you may have 1 or 2 TRUE hits on them and the rest are either mediocre or have a very narrow audience appeal. The catch 22 on new release discs is if they come out TOO fast the majority of songs do not have any audience and if they come out TOO late the songs have lost their "luster". I still like just downloading songs requested and buying as mentioned the YEAR in review type of discs when made available.

That maybe true to a degree..when I got - TOK by KE$A this fri that evening it was the first one done 4 X
...as well those yearly collection are not always the wise choice either..a DJ friend of mine buys those also and there are alot of those songs never touch so as I see it it doesnt matter if you buy the monthly or yearly collection it all depends upon each singers choices

Agree - song choices and requests for new releases vary greatly from KJ to KJ and VENUE to VENUE

This one is awesome. My regulars were stoked about the Baywatch theme, plus "Bike" from Pink Floyd. I have a few girls who are into singing Florence, and the rest will just wait for the right person to see it and go "No Way!" PLUS Whatever your stance is on buying tracks from Select-A-Track, they are selling quite a few songs that I don't see coming out on disc. A lot of Flight of The Conchords and some new catalog stuff from Echo and The Bunnymen and Queen.
Also, GEMINIMALE40, I have to say, you were right about the "Grease 2" soundtrack. Already had "Cool Rider" done every night since I bought it.

Unfortunately nothing floats my boat here, but since I am subscribed, i'll be getting them next week automatically. The Kings Of Leon & Lady Antebellum are probably the ones that will give most interest.

I've had 5-6 people ask me about "Hey, Soul Sister" by train over the last few weeks. Really good song. Might have to pick that one up.
