But I do have a DVI port to hook up to my external wide screen. But the converter box is only VGA connections. Is there a convertor box to hook up my laptop to both the big screen tv and the external screen?

Does your computer have an S-Video out? You can run dual screen out of that port, then split the signal to two TVs.

Yes its a 7 pin video out and I would be plugging into the yellow jack on the tv. So what your saying is that I can use the 20 in external screen for the singers using the DVI port and then use the 7 pin video out to the yellow jack on the tv as well?

How exactly is it broken? Physically broken?

If so, you could also pick up a docking station for your laptop which would most likely also have another VGA port on it.

It's actually physically broken. I had one very etoxicated woman at karaoke two weeks ago that feel while singing and dancing and pulled my 20 inch screen and stand done with her. I also felt my laptop going with her as well so I grabbed my laptop and when I did the vga cord pulled out of the back of the laptop. Now my vga plug will not get a signal. So I used the DVI port last week but have no idea how to use the DVI port to the monitor and a TV at the same time like I did with my VGA converter box.

Another option to consider is an external "video card" that plugs into the USB port. It can be used with a desktop or laptop computer-there are several companies that make them.

Go onto amazon and do a search and read the reviews. For example, if your VGA port wasn't broken you could add a third big screen to face the audience or if you work with several documents at the same time like spreadsheets. They run from around $40-$60 or so. I'm thinking about getting one for other work that I do.

Agreed. That drunken ho bag would be paying for any replacement equipment that she broke. That's the way I see it. I had a friend who had a drunken fool pull down one of his speakers and smash it on the floor. My friend went berzerk and and put the drunk in a coma, and wound up in jail. So, keep your cool, and just make her pay for her behavior. Just my opinion.
