Can the scrolling marquee be turned off?
Some of my converted dics seem to lag a bit. Not an entire dic actually, but I have come across a few songs where the music and words will be off. Does this have a "one-step" correction fix in Compuhost??? ..... or am I SOL and need to try again converting those songs again from disc to computer files?
I haven't bought Compuhost yet, just considering it. Right now, playing around with Roxbox.
Thanks!
Vicki

There are 2 modes with Compuhost. Standard, and DX. If you are having (lagging) problems, use the standard mode. You will lose some options, but it is still functional. Hope this helps.

You might want to try JustKaraoke because it can operate a lot like Compuhost rotation wise without the scrolling marquee and the lag. If you don't have 64 MB video dedicated ram on your video card then you're going to have lag on the lyrics due to new specs on Compuhost. I switched back to JustKaraoke because of it.

I had the same lagging problem when I first got CompuHost.
At first, I just switched to the Standard mode, and it fixed the lag. I later changed my computer settings to run in high performance mode and turned off all of the background programs I didn't need, including auto-indexing (which takes up a TON of system resources).
After completing this system tune up, the DX setting worked fine without lag.
