All of a sudden Qucktime is only playing about 15 seconds of music of the uploaded tracks, anyone else having this problem, and/or any solution. Got current version of Quicktime. Using Firefox, used it for years no problems

I just tried after logging in using Internet Explorer and the song played OK... I guess this site has issues with Firefox.

With Opera v 10.1 browser, tracks play all the way through, no luck with Firefox, something has changed with this site and Firefox. Jim (kjzone)

Me neither, I'm using Firefox.
I can hear only about 5 seconds or so. Same yesterday too.

I still could not get songs to play while using IE. I followed kjzones advice and started using Opera. Everything seems to work now.

In regards to the Firefox upgrade, I installed it on the 9th and had no problems listening to the songs in the showcase. The problem started a couple of days ago and only seems to affect the showcase. I can go to TriceraSoft and listen to the samples with no problems so I don't think it's the upgrade. Since it seems to work just fine elsewhere something must have gotten buggy or maybe something got changed in the forum software?

OK, just for grins I fired up my old desktop with an old version of Firefox ( installed Dec. 2008 ), same issues, so it's not Firefox, it's got to be something in the forum software.

GOT THREE VERSIONS OF FIREFOX, FROM OLD, MIDDLE TO CURRENT ON THREE DIFFERENT COMPUTERS, SAME PROBLEM WITH ALL THREE, IT'S NOT FIREFOX AS IT WORKS GREAT ON ALL OTHER SITES, THE PROBLEM IS WITH SINGER'S SHOWCASE SITE. ADMIN, PLEASE REPORT TO WEB TECH DEPT TO CORRECT.

As far as forum software - that can't be an issue...
Singers Showcase only uses the forum registration (Usernames & passwords) for access. The coding and scripting is simply a request for the MP3 file. It plays in IE, Opera, & Google Chrome. I switched from Quicktime to Microsoft Windows media player and it still functions fine except in Mozilla?
Not certain what is causing the problem...

Not only is it working, it's better than before. I agree with Micky, no need for a second window to open, this is smoother.
Thanks Phil:)
