I am looking for a system for home use. I am wondering if this is any good. Sam Ash is having it for $299 US and I thought it is very affordable, but I just need some advice on this product. Any input will be greatly appreciated! Like I mention it is for home use for just bunch of friends gathering to have fun. Thank you!

Should be OK, but bear in mind that you can only get so much performance from 10" speakers. Don't be expecting too much of a real "live" feeling.

If your room is large (20x24 or so) then I would suggest a bit more oomph.

I have the Yamaha stagepas 300 and it's wonderful in a small room..

For a 12 x 12 room that stagepass system should work out great for you. I believe there is a pre-amp out that you could also use if you decide to add a subwoofer down the road.

Obviously with that rig, you're not going to get stereo since it's only one speaker, but I think you'd be pretty happy with the performance overall.

i have stagepass 300 with 15 inch subwoofer the sound is great for any small venue
i actually pushed it once and dj a wedding with about 100 people every loved the sound but i really pushed it and wouldn't do it again

So after all inputs, I made my purchase. Its sounds good except for the singers! But thanks again and I am very happy with the Yamaha Stapepas 250m. Perfect for something at home to make a fool of yourself with friends and families! Thanks again!
