Hi All

I use an Acer Traelmate 4000 to run my show. I have obviously upgraded ram and HDD and use Sax and Dotty's Show Presenter.

My problem arises when I run a secondary monitor for lyrics via svideo:

If I turn the computer off and then disconnet Svideo, I cannot see my lyrics screen on my laptop screen the next time I switch it on. I have a feeling the laptop still thinks it has a secondary monitor attached.

I have tried verything, the only way I can get this to work, is for me to connect a monitor via svideo, and drag the lyris screen back to my laptop screen.

There has to be an easier way... Has anyone else had this problem? Is tre a quick way to bring my computer back to a single screen setup?

Thanks

Vic in Sydney

There should be a setting to automatically send the screen to the TV display in the configuration so that if you have the smaller sized screen on your laptop's screen and double click on it to have it go full screen on the secondary display.
the config is in winamp.

Check the configuration of the gen_cdg.dll file to make sure it is set to display 1.

If you run 2 lyrics windows you will have 2 files, one will be named gen_cdg.dll and the other gen_cdg2.dll
The first one should be set to display 1 and the second one should be set to display 2 (which has to be hooked up at the time your are setting the configuration for it)

From Winamp select options, then preferences, then scroll down to the plug-ins and look under general purpose, then on the right you will see MP3+G Plug-In v1.x (gen_cdg.dll)...select and then select the configure tab.

You are somewhat correct, it is Winamp (the mp3+g plug-in) that still thinks there is a second monitor attached as it "remembers settings" at closing.

This is precisely the answer I was looking for.

As always, thank you very much for your input.

Cheers
