I recently spent the $25 to get the Super Remote Tool from Tricerasoft and like the fact that it doesn't matter what type of gig I am doing in it's use. It allows you to choose when the client starts what type of files to search through. I plan on setting it to karaoke when I am running karaoke and setting it to Audio only for when I have a DJ gig.
Though about posting some pics but Decided that I might be showing copyrighted material and chose not to.

Sounds like a great capability and a real reason for looking at JustKaraoke. Does it have some ability to work standalone on an info-only basis?

unsure about that one I tested it on my home computer though and it seems to work as long as you have both the server running as well. You have to run the sever dialog as well or it won't locate the server. The client would cover the server up because it goes full screen. One good thing unless they know how you shut down the client they can't just shut it down on purpose. I know from the server I can drag and drop the songs into the que of my DJ playing software (I'm simple on this one too, winamp).

Sounds like it will be worth a try, for only $25.
