I bought a karoke song from Itunes yesterday (ProSound Kar - Actually pretty good.) However, when I play on my Computer Itunes and/or my Iphone, NO words; just the album cover pic only. Has anybody else out there bought Itunes Kar and got words? Am I doing something wrong? I'm not talking about the app "Karaokeanywhere" These play fine but limited selection. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks! Joey

you should check--I believe any ITUNES karaoke does not include the LYRICS file --its just an MP3 of the music WITHOUT A GRAPHICS FILE--did you download 2 files ????

Think it is Power Karaoke that does the Karaoke version.

Where are the karaoke songs on iTunes? I can't even get that far?

So they are mp3 and not AAC files? Can you move them out of iTunes and play them independent of Apple hardware/software?

I know that I have been able to move an ACC audio file (.m4a) I purchased from ITunes from my desktop to my laptop and play it through Winamp.

In the ITunes store just type karaoke or "Sound Choice" in the search bar.

These files do not include the lyrics...they are just "backing tracks".

Currently, Apple does not want to approach the issue of video synchronization licensing. We are trying to educate them on the error of their ways.

Until then, no lyrics, and no "true karaoke" on iTunes.

You can help by placing comments about your favorite songs on iTunes reflecting your desire to see synchronized lyrics for them. This is especially effective if you've purchased the song, but isn't necessary.

And just so you know, if you complain to itunes telling them you were expecting to have the lyrics, well, they'll tell you they only offer the audio track and will credit your purchase
