Quick rundown on me...

My buddy has his own karaoke set-up in his bar. He has parties at least once a month. Always a good time. I'm really hooked and want my own set-up.

I'm hopefully going to finish my basement in the next year and have my own set-up. I'd like to run one through a PC instead of an all-in-one system like he bought.

So I'm hoping to pick people's brains on some good options for doing it this way.

In my house...

Right now I have some water issues I need to deal with before I get to the next step.

Once that's done I'll be able to start putting up studs and dry wall. I haven't decided on the entire layout of everything but I have a good idea.

I talked to a DH this weekend at a first communion and he was running off a laptop. Pretty much what I want to do but I'll use a desktop instead since I can probably build or have friend build one from scratch that'll be able to handle the job.

That's when I start firing out more specific questions on here.
