Does anyone know what's going on with the lawsuit against the Karaoke Kandy Store in Ohio. Also known as cheapkaraoke and lightyearmusic.
It's about time someone does something directly to the stores that sell this stuff to kj's. I hope they make a huge example of them if they indeed were loading hard drives with their content and did not have permission to do so. There are so many cavs jb99 and jb199 units out there loaded with music with no disc given with the purchase.
I have talked to many people through the years that have bought from that store and it seems that it is the same story over and over. They own a digital unit with thousands of songs and NO DISC! Go figure.
If the drives are loaded with not only Soundchoice, but also Pop Hits Monthly, Chartbuster and many other namebrands. Why is it that ONLY soundchoice is
filing the lawsuit. I thought the KIAA was a banned of manufacturers.
