Hello again,

Just got some Karaoke kurrents disk in the mail and tried to put them on my hard drive and it won't read them, at least the graphics part and the software I use for karaoke will not pick them up to transfer them on here.

would like to get them on here and I believe the last two letters on the file were cda.?

Any help would be appreciated,

Thank You

Different karaoke programs read different file types. For instance, Swift Elite 4 reads ZIP files, so when you rip them, your ripping program has to be configured to convert to the file format which your karaoke software can read.

I have many Karaoke Kurrents discs, never had a problem ripping them.

Good luck!

What program did you use to rip the disc?

you should test the demo of powerkaraoke as it works with most drives.

Danny G's nailed it. Power Karaoke seems to work on everything.

NOTE: There are at least 4 different counterfeit sets of Karaoke Kurrents out there, and they are pretty bad, recording -wise. Lots of disc errors. If you got one of those, it could also cause a problem.

Well I guess I could make up a story but I won't as I have gotten a few tracks online that were mp3G and needles to say they just went right in so when I tried to do these I wasn't thinking of that one little step...Ripping the tracks first. I feel so bad I wasted your time so I really do apologize for such a bonehead mistake and all I can do is LOL.

Thanks for the time...I do have power karaoke burner and it does work well but it did read one of the disk as a lot of real old country music but the songs and tittles to them are all correct thankfully as I was starting to wonder if I got copied disk.

Again Thanks
