Yeah, I caught that after, Lonman. Thanks.
Next question: How long is the sale on for? I don't have many CB discs and this would be good for either of my systems, but I have to wait till after mortgage payment on the first....

This Thursday but I bet they'd honor it longer if you were to e-mail them?

My pleasure. I'm going to purchase some as well. Maybe I'll cry poor house and see if they'll cut me an even better deal?

Update sent out today.....
At Your Request, we've made it easier to check out this week's Value Packs!
We've had such a great response to our special VALUE PACK offers, that we've
searched the warehouse and put together another set for our customers.
Watch for more great specials as we continue to clean out our warehouse - and remember this sale is "online only."
Sincerely,
The Chartbuster Karaoke Web Team

I used to have a Chartbusters subscription but now that they've redone their site, I seem to have lost it. I searched their site and can't find where to sign back up for it. Does anyone know where on their site you can set that up?
While searching for the subscription page I came across this interesting Tidbit from the site:
Chartbusters wrote: You are allowed to make a single copy of your Chartbuster Karaoke discs for archive purposes only. Please note that this does not entitle you to use those backed-up tracks for any other purpose than as a back-up, including playing, sharing, distribution or performance.
Karaoke shows that use tracks stored to a hard disk drive are doing so in violation of the Chartbuster Karaoke license printed on the original disc. Unless the tracks were purchased as digital downloads and are being played from the original disk onto which they were downloaded, the operator is in violation of the license.
Hmmm, that can be problematic for some.

It is as if they believe by saying that, they can nip the multi-rigger in the bud. Ain't gonna happen as we know, but a proviso like that saves a lot of time if they decide to really go after those who DO make copies onto their hard drives and use them as their sole copy.

You are so welcome - as we discussed on the phone, I was SOOOOOOOOO tempted to open the box up when it arrived - when I get music, I don't wait, I open it immediately and play it. So, just so you know, I didn't open it...but it was tempting! I see they still have these sets on their website (or did earlier today) .. hoping they'll still be there on payday.

Am I reading that correctly??? Is Chartbusters actually saying that you can't play their tracks if you format shift them?
