700K. Maybe with a 100K of dupes??? But maybe they have EVERY LATIN, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, or any other foreign language Karaoke song there is also with multiple dupes of those too?? And converted over EVERY LASER Karaoke disc to DVD that was ever manufactured(there were many others than just Pioneer).

Just grasping for sources other than dupes. But I will go there and see what they really have.

Hmm maybe since they are attempting to DISTRIBUTE bogus drive loads that maybe the FBI would be interested to go along with their recent prosecution of pirate hardrive distributors????

Just an idea!

We are selling the songs themselves for $500 which is a steal! This price is if you bring your OWN hard drive! You will need to have at least a 1.5 TB hard drive to allow all these songs to be stored together. If you do not have a hard drive and need one, we will provide a NEW hard drive and all the songs already loaded onto it for you for $700! If you are interested or have any questions, please contact me at hkan@comcast.net and I will immediately return your email as it comes directly to my phone.

It's people like that who sell illegal pirated material that should be slammed the hardest. They really hurt the average kj that spends $489.00 just to get 1 yrs. worth of disc from Pop Hits Monthly. these hard drive sellers make me sick!

I have a new stand on these HD people. Go them!!!!! I hope they take every KJ's in the area's jobs. While so many people are crying and complaining they are out there trying to make money and running shows. If you were so much better you would go that the show or be running it already.

If you are going to complain about karaoke libraries do something about it!!!!! I did!!! I have the best equipment and following in my area. Most of the hacks have a notebook, a $60 Nady wireless mic set, a Yamaha powed mixer and a pair of crappy Yamaha SV115's.

It's free America figure out how to make money. I don't cry cause I'm the only DJ in my area that buys music and pays taxes. I bust my (@$%&#!) to make myself better.

Hey now. I have S115V's and they are anything but crappy! Of course you have to have the power behind them....

They are cheap KJ junk. Buy a real mixer and power amps. Any $300 speakers are cheap and crappy. I think Yamaha speakers some of the worst speakers I have ever heard or used.

Try a EV's, Turbosounds, Dynacord, or Danley Soundlabs and you will know what I mean. Even the JBL VRX line isn't too bad.

Well I beg to differ. My Yamaha S115V's sound exceptional. The price tag is the icing on the cake. Perhaps you had a bad pair. ;) Of course I also push them with plenty of power to spare and give them a good, clean signal.

Hey! I run a Yamaha powered mixer and I LOVE it! I have the EMX512SC and it does exactly the job it was designed to do and then some. It's perfectly suited for the venues I host at.
However, were I to host at a larger venue, I do have the big guns available to pull out, should the need arise.

Well in all fairness, they could only be as good or bad as the person using them.

I personally think mackie makes junk. I have yet to hear a decent system running mackie equipment. But I give them a benefit of the doubt that it's the user not knowing what they were doing that made them sound so bad.

Only thing with the Yamaha powered mixers, I think they sound ok, but nothing special and IMO not enough power at least for my needs, and since this is the typical combination of many kj's, the shows that use these systems all sound alike soundwise.
The S115V with proper power & a good sub will sound just fine.

I use a 12-channel mackie board, 2 SM350s or 450s depending on venue, and a 15-inch active mackie sub. I get raves about the sound from people who have sung all over the place. It is crystal clear. I don't like junk and wouldn't ever make people sing through a crappy system. I seldom find a show with as clear a sound as we have. Again, if the person at the board doesn't know what they're doing, even the best components can sound bad.

I also have the 350's and 450's.
There must be a very good reason for a person to stick with them.

I too have Mackie (2) SRM350v2's (floor monitors) and (2) SRM450v2's, and I also get rave reviews about the crystal clear sound. I could not be happier, and neither could my singers and listeners.

The place we have been going Friday's had someone take over for a week.
With the regular guy every once in a while there is a squeal and thats cause he is running the mics, monitor, speakers and everything thru one channel and trying to fix the sound with just one knob. The equipment is not old whatsoever.

The new person had squeals ALL NIGHT. And the girl complained that she's been "running for 10 to 15 yrs and this equipment is old, my stuff is new"

With the regular guy we can handle a squeal sometimes but with the same equipment the sound was bad enough we left very early and any others that came in were leaving too. The only ones left were her family members. How do I know they were her family? Because she mentioned it several times.

So it does matter who runs because you can get horrible sound from decent stuff.
