So, in which state was the lawsuit that you were named in?
Also was a company name listed?
Is yours and/or company name still visable on the lawsuit filing on http://dockets.justia.com/ so we may take a look?

Too bad; but this forum has just been turn into a Intellectual Property Forum, which it is not. And since such threads are KJ related they fit into that that forum. That is the way I see it may be other Mod think differently.

it is unfortunate timing that this is done when someone who experienced it and istn't just speculating about it comes along. Not that people won't argue about it but they argue about everything from karaoke brands to mics to rotations, anyway. And if being KJ-related is the true criteria for moving posts, than half of the posts in both the Discussion and Technical Forums should be moved there. Oh well. Here we go again.

I agree. Perhaps all should be moved behind the "Iron Curtain"....
Also I noticed that my signature has been removed. Perhaps it is because I mention my opinion that everyone should buy SC, CB, & PHM Karaoke products...
I need to see if birdofsongs Anti-Sound Choice poster is still up on her little post... brb....
EDIT: Yup, still there... http://www.karaoke-forum.com/viewtopic. ... ht=#275092

If you read the poster, it says nothing about boycotting anything nor does it even suggest that anyone boycott any brand.
It does say:
"We will not risk this establishment being sued for playing and/or simply displaying a logo on the monitor."
It is simply an example of a policy statement and a clear explanation of why the policy is in place. We are protecting our customer - the establishment - and thereby protecting this industry. Because if the establishment gets sued, that will be the end of karaoke there forever.

Yeah, now that you mentioned it, I can see where the anti-ad rule can play into it since it appears on every one of my posts, so it could constitute SPAM.... However, SPAM was not my intention....
But I must admit, I love a show that has a lot of Sound Choice, Chartbuster, & Pop Hits Monthly tracks in their library!

Yeah, you are correct Chip, the poster just states policy.
I would hate to have you lose a gig...
