When someone starts a topic, and someone tries to change the thread into a discussion of LEGAL issues, why don't the OP come on THEIR thread, and tell the person to start their own thread concerning LEGAL issues. If EVERYBODY would do this, the only place that would have these discussions would be easily identified as LEGAL ISSUE THREADS. If the intruders refuse to stop high-jacking threads, then the moderators can get involved, and take the appropriate action. Maybe if EVERYONE would do this, this forum would return to being the ENJOYABLE place it USED TO BE!!! This is probably too long to be #7 JAM.

Don't know if its too long, but as a relatively new member to the forum I like it!
How about a legal issue sub-category? All legal threads/posts posted in any other forum could either be moved or deleted if not in the appropriate forum.

YAYYYYY finally someone has said what I have always wanted to say but was too afraid I would get told how stupid I was for not knowing anything or caring about the 'relevant' issues...
Thanks Jam and Srnity for saying what was on my mind.
And why are so many people rude on this forum? Someone asks a question, or someone responds with their opinion, all of a sudden people are commenting on how stupid or idiotic the questions/responses are... sheesh! People are on here to learn, not to be insulted! Just give your opinion on the issue and STFU.
Rule #7: Rudeness and Karaoke do not mix.
This forum used to be a constant pleasure to visit, learn and take away info that was worthwhile to my show. I now sometimes have to worry about what people have said to one of my posts when I am logging on. urgh!

HALF of the posts on these piracy threads, (either started or hijacked ones), would be eliminated if the four or five people who cry about their alleged civil rights being allegedly violated would just stick a fork in it.
That being said,
#10 PBTDBL is ALWAYS too long

PERSONALLY ..I would like to start reading about NEW equipment for karaoke or pro audio. New ideas for keeping a show FRESH. Reviews on some versions of new releases (other than SC) etc. NOT EVERYTHING has to be answered with or thought of with a moral dilema in mind.
Karaoke is a BUSINESS .....a FUN BUSINESS for both KJ and SINGER
#12 Adding a SUB-WOOFER to your system can only enhance the sound and experiance.
(Over the last few weeks I've heard some systems using a SUB and alot more OOMPH than my system) Have to admit sounded GREAT !!
Still at last weeks show I did receive compliments on MY sound from some experianced karaoke singers who just happened upon my show.
Granted my current shows are all at SMALL BARS which my system is fine for.
OUTSIDE or LARGE VENUES ...not so much. ( still looking at buying the QSC GX5 to enhance my oomph and now maybe a sub )

#13 Two subs are even better than one.
#14 Cheap Microphones sound just that cheap if you can't afford to use SM58 wireless or better don't use wireless mics.
#15 Please rip your MP3+G's at 320Kbps they sound much better.
#16 Please buy a Pro-Level Sound card. It will sound much better than the headphone out on your computer..

Agree with this, night & day difference - however it is completely dependant on the rest of the system. A great sound card won't make a crappy system any better & then the headphone out would be more than adequate.

I agree, but I wonder how many of the so called PRO AUDIO sound cards really are much better then TODAYS built in sound cards? - I use a American Audio Versaport and it does sound good but how much better than my heaphone out ?
Will have to do a comparison

Yesterday's information is quite often a problem....

The version of PBTDL where he flies out at first is a lot better.
