Currently I'm using CDG's at home and have downloaded some MP3's I'd like to burn onto a CD that will play in my CDG player.

Is there a single product that will allow me to burn CD's that if I decide to change formats in the future would also allow me to RIP my current CDG's and play those along with any downloads I purchase?

I've seen PowerKaraoke, but it appears to be a different piece of software for each task.

what powerkaraoke are you talking about.
the one i have has separate tabs for each process. you want to rip you click on the rip tab and then follow the easy steps to rip what you want to.
you want to burn you click burn.

It's all one program with different tasks.

+1 for Powerkaraoke's "Power CD+G Burner". The name is a little misleading as it also rips & copies.

A great little program for the price.

MTU Microstudio is also very good, which can have key change and even basic vocal removal ability option added so you can record your cdg song in the key you need (handy for those computer users - or even disc users - with no key change ability). It can also serve as a backup as it can run the lyrics on a second screen as well. Even record as you sing capable. For a little extra over the Power Karaoke, it does alot you might actually want in the future. Plus you can rip and burn as well.

Maybe I should have been a little more patient...oh well I went ahead and downloaded and paid for PowerKaraoke CD+G Burner. Seems to work well just didn't have any play capabilities.

I'm sure by the time I get to that point I'll want more than just a basic player anyway.
(^that's my way of reassurring myself of a good purchase... )

I test my songs with tricerasoft's free player.
