I worked great for about 3 months. Then one day when I pushed the power button, nothing happened as though it were not plugged in. :x And trust me, it IS pugged in. Has this happened to any of y'all? How did you get it fixed?

You should be able to take it to any Electronics store to get looked at. It's just like a DVD player except it also plays CD+G's and SCD+G's.

In also checking prices, it may be one of those things that buying a new player would be better than fixing the old one. Of course, that depends on what the problem is.

I havnt worked on a cavs just jvc's or rsq's. If you are not getting any response at all that means the 5 volt logic power supply isnt working You might pop the cover and look for a fuse near where the power cord enters or on the transformer which is in the same area. Do a general inspection for loose plugs , or something obviously fried. Ohm out the power cord..I have a jvc sittin here with a bad 5v regulator that i need to replace sometime. While ur at it Marty do a good cleaning of the optics etc. If you need any help or advice on it dont be hesitant to holler at me !!
