I'm working on building a compact karaoke system. I purchased a Gemini MRC-6 road case and I want to know if the Behringer EuroPower PMP3000 Mixer comes with rack-mount brackets.

I've seen a Behringer (FX 2442 I believe) non-powered mixer rack-mounted in an SKB road case.

For those who've owned Behringer board mixers, do they come with the hardware to rack-mount them into a road case, or is that a custom job?

I don't believe that powered mixer is rackable ..... but anything I guess can be MADE to rack.

Why not go with the following if you don't mind Behringer
Unpowered Mixer which comes with rack ears X1222USB -$219.99 and then you can get an ep2000 power amp for about $299 ( and for about $70 more than the PMP3000) you have your self a much better and more powerful set up.

After going to Behringers site/product page there is a link for rack mountable mixers and the one in question isn't on the list.

It is less than 19" wide, and a rack space is 19" wide, so it'll fit, in theory.

They make rack shelves for mixers that don't have ears. Just a shallow shelf that rack mounts and has a rubbarized floor so whatever you put on it doesn't move around.

They also make cases that fit any mixer of particular dimensions and are padded inside with removeable padding for the mixer's wiring. The mixer is not attached to this type of case, but it protects the mixer the same way a rack would. You just throw this case on top of the rest of your rack, if possible, connect the wires, and good to go.

Those are some alternative options.

Jam-- Great suggestion. As a matter of fact, the X1222 IS the one I was referring to before, the one that I had seen in a rack mount case. In theory, I could get the power amp with the non-power mixer, or just get powered speakers, which is the setup I currently use with the X1222 (I rent it). I'll price out both, and figure out which is the better deal. Thanks!

And thank you to everyone else for all your suggestions as well!

Just to add.

I have the Behringer x1222USB... and I have absolutely no complaints. It came with rack mounting hardware, it fits in a 8u/2u Marathon Case with wireless mics and a power strip. It makes a very compact system when paired with powered speakers.

I also have the 1222FX. And it really is a workhorse. I've had no problems whatsoever.
