There has been times while running show presenter during a show that the thing will just stop playing the audio and a loud screeching noise come thru the system and I have to hurry up and turn the volume down and usually have to re start the program to get back going again? It has also done this while playing regular music thru the program. Has anyone else had this problem if so could you please tell me the fix for it? It is kinda nerve racking standing there not knowing when and if it might happen because believe me it is a terrible loud sound.

If you mean sax and dotty show presenter ,I didnt realise it played regular music ,do you mean with the winamp part ,which will more like be the problem if normal music is affected, try uninstalling winamp and reinstalling .
Make sure you delete the folder in programs after the uninstall before reinstalling.
Don't forget to install the cdg plug in again .
Hope that helps .

just wondering if it does it on the same songs over and over???? Maybe those songs files are bad. First thing I would do is see if it hasppens at the same place in the song to rule out if the track is the problem and not the program. Just a thought.

Another host came into my show tonight & asked what I ran as far as hosting (of course I told him MTU Hoster) he said he'd been running S & D and it always crashes/stops on him during a show, he wondered if it was because of the 64 bit in his system. I told him i'd ask. He told me the specs on his system & it's a very high end system, lots of ram & high processor with a 250gb HD not even half filled.

Hi Gator
I use Sax & Dotty on a regular basis and had the same issues after I moved from Windows XP to Windows 7.
I had no idea what was causing it, until I stumbled across a winamp forum which said incompatible plugins could be the cause.
In my case Winamp would either freeze entirely, or generate some strange noises. The noise was a rare occurance, but the freeze was almost once every two gigs or so.
I uninstalled Winamp and all my plugins and reinstalled newer versions which were compatible with my 64 bit system. My gut feeling is that Pacemaker in particular needs to be upgraded, and this might sort your issues out.
Have been problem free ever since.
Cheers
