http://www.goldenhawk.com/ for ripping & burning
http://cavsusa.com/ for encoding to put on hard drive (uses about 1/10 the memory that bin files use the best way to back up)
Cavs uses the mcg graphics file format To convert to cdg use the latest Cavs decoder & batch change mcg to rw extesions then use something like 123Number to rename the extensions from rw to cdg

You can also use a program called MP3+G tools.
This allows you to put CDG and MP3 files in a folder, and merge them together to make .bin files, which is what you need to use to burn to a CDG to play on a karaoke machine.
Then, you use CDRwin (I believe) from goldenhawk.

found mp3toolz for sale... you shouldn't be trading it if it's commercially available.

How could you find it for sale if it's a free product?
Actually, that website with the free download was down for a long time. Glad to see it's back up.

because it's NOT a free product.
People may be giving it away for free... but the owners of the product have been very territorial about it!

I just checked out activeaspsoftware.net, and they're site is back up and running. Looks like you can still get the GREAT MP3+G toolz for FREE. Check out their products page.
Has anyone tried to use their auto-renamer, now that the site is back up? Been using a different utility, but their's was SOOO slick.

Hey Knight
I tried your link, installed it and says that the following under licence info
Quote: This product is licensed to: Freeware User Serial #: AAS6846966658708-1212
I guess it's freeware then right?
OldPaint (Have to wonder wher that name comes from )
The rename utility works great. I have been using this tool since early versions and am verry happy (and even more impressed)

Just to be clear. IF ActiveAsp is still offering their AWESOME tool for free, please go to them to get it.
The least we can do is support a great outfit like them, for developing and offering great free toolz.
Knightshow - huh? PM me when you have time.
