I thought this would only be available direct from SC? I hope they make buyers aware of what it is they are "buying"

Doesn't look like they are stating anything other than calling a number for more info.
Kurt on another forum stated that select dealers will also be handling selling it.
But of course you can't finance the sets through Karaoke Warehouse. Only through Sound Choice.

If it is sold like the Mortar set in which you picked 8 Spotlight discs of your choice, the stores sold you the pack that you actually redeem through SC direct.

Again I don't know, but it could be why outside SC vendors are selling the set. And you are right. I only actually bought 1 Mortar, it was hard enough trying to find that many discs with songs I actually needed.

If you buy through a dealer do you have to go through the same process as buying from SC?

If not, does SC still consider them licensed to you?

Didn't see on the KaraokeWH website that there was anything related to the restrictions on purchase other than to say it was for professional KJ's. It did say also for those starting out, so who makes the determination. Anyone can call and say "I'm a newbie and am starting to host karaoke." So I guess it's on the honor system. Yeah, that'll work!

There also isn't anything regrading the requirement to sign a contract or that you have to renew your lease.

I wish it were as easy to get a dealership with these people. :withstupid:
