use a kiosk and get rid of books....
I haven't used a printed paper book in 6 years...
(kills muchn fewer trees you know.)
What software are you using for your Kiosk?
I scored one of those bar top touch screen games from an auction a few months ago dirt cheap. It's nothing more than a Pentium 4 PC inside, and I thought that would be cool to do a kiosk kind of thing so people can search or browse through my collection and either print slips there, or send the requests over wireless network to my DJ laptop.
Closest thing i've found that might do this is a free ad on to PCDJ
I've downloaded their demo.. but have yet to mess with it.. mostly because I have so much already invested in Virtual DJ and before that, an ancient version of Tricerisoft I bought when I first went digital many, many moons ago.
Any advice or suggestions you could make regarding your kiosk system would be greatly appreciated!
