Hi everyone!,
It's me again! You know that I'm a new kid on the block, so this will be my first Christmas at the Singers Showcase. I'm just wondering how that works out.

There really aren't all that many good Christmas songs. What happens at Christmas? Are there a ton of the same songs by different showcase singers? Oh bOy... I'm planning my Christmas wishlist for the Christmas songs that I want to hear by different Singers on here! I've just picked out the one I want from Emma. What Child Is This!!!!

Look it is only August. Already you start talking about Christmas and the Winter Holidays?

Stop it! I have three kids - just the thought of those bills is enough to drive me crazy... :lol:

Actually, this will be the first holiday season for Singer's Showcase. In the spirit of the times I think we can allow singer's to submit the same songs within a day or two as opposed to waiting a week.

However putting in reservations and requests is a great idea. Let's see what everyone else has to say...

Yes, Phill, I agree with you. We all want to be as generous as we can for the season but it sure puts a big dent in the budget. Anyway, our loved ones deserve it.
Your idea for submissions is fair. No two singers can do a song exactly the same. Each one brings his/her own interpretation. No one should feel threatened because after all this is not a competition.

one day normally is plenty of time for people to sub same songs..mainly that they arnt on the same page would be courtesy enough..like Tonmay said..each person brings their own interpretion ..i love hearin the different ways one song can be done personally...:)

now..let me get back to my Christmas list :) evil grin :)
