Thanks for taking the time to post that cool stuff Bazaa.

Is this the complete series and how much, if you don't mind saying, did it set you back all together?

Hi Bazza, care to answer how much altogether the whole complete series costs (if you don't mind)?

Almost finished building my second rig, these discs will be my next target before the year's end but I have to save more $$. Thanks for sharing.

Happy to see it didn't take too long, Gem series is already available for torrent.

Great now the pirates have 320kbps versions of all their favorite sound choice songs.

Me thinks he is joking because I doubt that SC had sold more than a hand full of sets yet.

I think this is a great idea. Looking at all of the lists there are some forgotten classics like some of fabled Eagales tracks. Once you compile the entire list of all 6,000 tracks there are many gems here.

It is too bad SC wouldn't offer a media discount to trade in old media. It could help them get further penetration.

Just for the record, if you go to soundchoice's website, you can click on the link there and a full list of songs, plus a pricing structure is available. They even detail how much your payments are if you choose to finance.

Of course, all the current prices are with the 10 or 25% discount, so they will have to update everthing after July.. *shrug*

It doesn't take a pirate long to get the song list from Sound Choice's web site and just put all of the required tracks into a folder to torrent. Some people do this just because they hate Sound Choice and don't want people to put any money in Sound Choice's pockets. If you're a former pirate or a pirate that has already been busted by Sound Choice; what better way to get even with them than by putting their latest product out there for free? The files that are available through torrent probably have the old Sound Choice Logo (RED) as opposed to the new LOGO (BLUE).

If they have the red logo, then it isn't the GEM series. But since soundchoice has realeased all of these songs before, it would be possible to download all the same songs.

Do you think that people who get their songs from torrents care what color the logo is?

No I don't think anyone would care. But I do, if it truly was the gem files being distributed, that means that someone who had access to soundchoice's source files posted them.

Then there is the fact that there would be 320 kbs versions available now which would further devalue a set purchased..

The only thing I could find was an old SC torrent, with a COMMENT that said "These songs are gems!". So...if you google "Sound Choice Gem Torrent"...it shows up.

There is no way in hell that these would be posted online for pirates. They're not offered to the general public. I can't believe that a KJ would enter into a binding contract with Kurt Slep and then violate the terms immediately.
