I have an behringer europower amp. I used it for my karaoke which i stoped useing it a few months ago. When i have come back to it i find i'm not getting any sound out of it.

When i finished my last gig i packed up all my equipment like i did every time before, so i'm sure i didn't touch anything i wasn't supposed to.

When i plug my mike in there is no sound coming out of the speakers, but all the LED lights are coming on, so there must be something going through with the mike.

I hope someone can help me out as i knowif it has to go to the makers they will want a bomb just to open it up. Thanks.

Would be helpful to have more information. You're not plugging the mic directly into the amp and expecting anything are you? Check the simple stuff first. Make sure nothing on your mixer is muted, make sure the input sensitivity controls on the amp are turned all the way up, make sure the cables are all plugged in securely (exercise them in and out a few times to clean up any dirty contacts). Start there and let us know what happens, when you come back, a few more details about the equipment you're dealing with would be helpful.

Your original post suggests that you are plugging a microphone directly into the input of the power amplifier. This will not work because the output from a mic is too low for a power amp. You need to use a pre-amplifier between the mic and power amp - usually a mixer.

Let us know exactly what equipment you are using, and where it's wired too and from.
