After all the hoopla in the last few months about microphones, I have decided to purchase the AKG WMS40 dual set. Just was wondering tho, where the best and least expensive place was to purchase the set. I have checked Ebay already, best deal there is for used, and it was for $249.00. Can that be beaten? If memory serves me correctly, someone on here said they purchased theirs NEW for 229??? or am I just dreaming. Suggested places anyone? Thanks

I bought mine for $258 brand new on ebay from unique squared. I must have caught a sale price because the cheapest new is 329.99 from unique squared but that includes shipping.

The ones unique squared is selling are legal. At least mine is. If it costed me $329.99 for mine I still would have purchased it.

He's looking for new not used. Although I would ask the question of what frequency the set is and not worry about it being used.

I for one will be anxiously awaiting your review and comments. I've been itching to get a new wireless set for a while. That's a great price!

I like the set, great quality and great sound and for $248 for a dual set.
Not a bad price . The AA battery life is a big selling tool also.
Have to thank many on here for suggesting them

I honestly think the AKG WMS40 dual is the 2nd best Wireless set available.....just behind the SM58's...but at half the price!!
