I think Elvis recorded anywhere from 700-800 songs in his lifetime. i've only counted 502 of them in karaoke form. There's probably more only released in asia.

Who else besides Elvis Presley and Ray Charles are in All 3; the Country, Rock & Roll, and Gospel Hall Of Fame(s)??

Great pics Jian. Looks like they really enjoy elvis where you're from!

When I got the Velvet Elvis collection, I put all of our Elvis songs in it's own seperate section in our books. I couldn't see the point of paying to reprint all of those pages each time when the song list didn't change that much. We have had a few requests for better versions on some of them so there can be a change here and there but then that just means reprinting a page or two instead of the entire thing.

Also, Elvis covered so many songs, if we don't have a song, sometimes an Elvis version will do. My boyfriend's Roger Whittaker song got run over and became unavailable for a while. We realized we had it on Velvet Elvis and it is quite servicable. And what man hasn't longed for a male version of "Snowbird." Ok, never mind.

By the way, anyone ever hear the El Vez version of "In the Barrio?" Wish that was on karaoke.

Jian, you definitely win. I think you have beat even Vegas.

There's quite a few of us that have been doing this 10+ years. We had a retro fad in the late 90's. Swing made a comeback, and Elvis and was being sung in every karaoke bar across the country.

I don't see Elvis ever being sung anymore. Ever. It makes me sad because I love Elvis.

Just had a guy at my show this past weekend sing a bunch of Elvis tunes. He had a great voice that was well suited to singing Elvis, Sinatra and Bobby Darrin. Very enjoyable to listen to, Elvis definitely has not left the building.

He hasn't left my building yet... annoying i'm not a fan of the songs of his I hear all the time...

American Triology
Suspicious minds
I just can't help believing

I do however love his cover versions... sweet caroline etc but they tend to be ignored.

Ocassionaly I'm blessed with Little Sister, Burning Love and You've Lost That Loving feeling. :D

I have Elvis songs still sung but your right from when I started until now it has definitely tapered down. I can remember when it would be his birthday or anniversary of his death many people would sing one of his songs in his honor. Now when these dates come around people don't even mention it.

I've had many Elvis impersonators come to sing through the yrs so I know his memory is not forgotten and I believe his songs will be sung as long as there is karaoke. I'm not a huge fan, but don't mind his songs. I prefer hearing new and different stuff being sung.

Elvis will always be the king.

Just read that one of the Chilean miners is an Elvis fan and he had some Elvis music sent down into the mine so they could keep up their spirits by singing along (yes, now he gets to go to Graceland). Sounds like Elvis is definitely still in the building.

Elvis is alive and kicking in Sydney

Most popular at Karaoke

All Shook Up
Burnin Love
Suspicious Minds

Only last week I received a decent sized tip for Spanish Eyes. Still fans out there - most of them are over 50.

I'm 30, and I'm a BIG fan.

Has he left the building? Hmm, I don't know. What I do know though is that he will live in his music for a long time. I am a huge fan and I am just in my mid 20s.

Among my favorite songs are:

* Don't Be Cruel
* Suspicious Minds
* All Shook Up
