Everytime I navigate between pages on Karaoke Scene, I now get a wierd popup screen from SearchIgnited.com. I have never gotten this before, now I'm getting a billion of them. Only happens on Karaoke Scene.
Is anyone else getting these, and could someone from the site admin turn it off???

That's OK. I get an expired domain page if I don't hit stop on my browser fast enough.

Yes, I'm getting it also. I have pop-up block on, but when I started this reply, I got a screen that said, I was the 100,000th visitor, and that it was no joke. Needless to say, I x'd out of it. Don't know what's going on.

Everytime I tried to get to Karaokescene.com a different website popped up. I tried a work around by googling karaokescene.com and then clicking on a different entry point like Karaokescene magazine. The right karaokescene website opened up then it imediately changed to the other website.
I went to me temporary files and deleted everything in there. I was able to fix the situation that way. You may need to clean out your cache. I'm running Spybot and Adaware programs now in case this is some sort of spyware/malware.
The website that is taking over is called karaokescene.com, so heads up guys it sounds like it is targeting our place.

Mine was not a pop up. It literally took over my computer and changed the destination website.

It is all due to them letting karaokescene.com expire. If/when they renew it, this should be corrected.

Yeah... I got the same thing earlier today. The weird thing was, I was able to get into K-Scene thru my AO-Hell (but I have other problems when going in here with my AO-Hell (for a long time now)), but when I tried thru Firefox, the site would appear for 2 seconds, and then redirect.
It seems to be OK now.

That's exactly what it does for me. And the more I think about it, the more I recall that that was exactly what it did last year too, except I seemed to be the only one last year. I wish I could make it stop!
Oh well. At least I'm not alone this year!

With Firefox I get redirected to an expired domain message...

Same thing here too. I emailed Phil and/Jian, telling them of the problem. But all seems to be good now. I think it had to do with the expired domain, or maybe the forum got hacked. Keep your wits about ya'll and see if anything else is "odd"

I'm still getting the popups. One everytime I navigate between pages on KS. By the time I finish my session, I have 34 popup windows!

I'm still getting the redirect. The only way I could figure out how to get on is by using IE instead of Firefox. I thought maybe it was some sort of Malware, but it is only happening with this site. Aggravating! I ran my anti-virus and all malware protections and it isn't helping. It has to be connected to karaokescene only.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep the problem at bay, so if you don't see me on for a while you'll know why.
Oh where oh where is Phill?
Phill HELP!

I cleaned my cache in Firefox and now it's working again. Probably just a matter of time Babs, until the DNS Servers update the information for karaokescene.com. But until try to empty your cache.
