Make sure you either get paid for it, or quit an hour early......clocks.....fall back
for some people that is......2:00 am Sunday will be 1:00 am....extra hour of fun, or sleep......

Since it doesn't happen until 2:00AM officially, we are already done by 1:30 anyway. Won't matter as far as how long I play, and the bar gets everyone out before 2 as well, so it won't factor in. Not even sure if our liquor law allows for that or not - I do not believe they do here.

Well, here in WI we don't pass up the opportunity to gain an extra hour of drinking The laws here allow bars to roll the clocks back and party an extra hour. Thanks for the heads up.

Won't even be an issue here. Same reasoning as for Lonnie. We are done by 1:30, loaded and gone shortly thereafter. So, I will be sleeping the extra hour!!! woot woot!

It's Daylight Savings.....
http://geography.about.com/cs/daylightsavings/a/dst.htm
Thanks, for the reminder.
Hadn't occurred to me. It doesn't effect my show since a) I don't work that night, and b) for the same reason as Lonnie. I'm done by 1:00.
Handy to know anyway, since I have a little one that goes to school.

Daylight Savings time - back in the 1800's, some of the people felt that by moving the clock ahead one hour in the spring (aprox last week of March or so) and moving it back an hour in the fall (aprox last week Oct/First week Nov) that it would give the farmers extra daylight hours during the workable hours to get more work/crops worked. It's more of a novelty factor now IMO, but is still a tradition.

It used to be the Saturday night before Halloween, if I remember right. I hated that because then it got darker sooner when the kids were out Tricker Treating.
I totally forgot this year because now it's done after Halloween.
I work until 2:00, sometimes 3am. Some years I was stuck until 4am with the extra hour because of it. Long Night!

know what else you don't get.....cold.... ...not practicing Daylight Savings Time, is just one more thing for you Phoenicians should be greatful for.........
I wish they would just keep the clock like it is right now, and Babs is right, it used to be the last Sunday in October......makes it real hard to scare the trick or treaters anymore.....
