Once in a while we'll get a crazy or 2 in the bar. As long as no one gets hurt it's usually entertainment for the patrons and me. I thought I'd share my Wednesday night story. Please post your crazy people stories, for a laugh or two.

I had a guy come in that was obviously slow or slightly retarded. We all recognized it and was kind to him. He even sang a song and didn't do that bad of a job. Well he decided to approach a table of young girls that are regulars and lift up his shirt all the way up to flash them. They tried to ignore him, but he continued to disrobe even more. He unbuttoned and unsipped his pants.. The one girl reached into her purse for her phone. He started yelling," No, no Mace! - NO MACE!". He ran out the door and didn't come back.

On the same night a older gal fell in the front door when she came in. People went to her rescue, but she was fine. Then she took her shoes off and put her shoes and feet on the bar. Next she lit up a cigarette. She was asked to put it out and did. The minute the bartender wasn't looking she lit another one. This time he put it out and asked her to leave. He escorted her out and not 30 seconds later she came in the back door walked up to the pool table and through a pool ball and laughed. I think her plan was to then to escape by running out, but instead she ran face first into me waiting to go to the bathroom. She thought the bathroom door was the way out. LOL

I saw a similiar episode.....chased drunk out....came back in through the back door, chased him out the back door...came back in through the front door. After several rounds of this, he asked the bartender.....wait a minute, buddy.....how many places on this street do you own..... :)

True story. This happened 4 years ago when I was still doing the Bar/Saloon karaoke gigs. Two intoxicated nice looking girls (early twenties) approached my KJ booth more than twice to let them sing next. I told them to fill-out a request slip but they have to wait 45 minutes. They said they’ll be leaving shortly so “what do we have to do to be next?” Told them again to wait like everybody else.

Then one said “We will show you our t**ts”. Being the guy that I am, I can’t refuse a very nice offer, but at the same time I’m not about to break my rotation. Besides, I didn’t even think they were serious. I thought they were bluffing, so I called their bluff and I said okay ladies, show ‘em to me. Lo & behold both lifted their blouses, & there they were in all its glory.

I don’t know what got into me but my comment was “sorry ladies, but those b**bs doesn’t look like it merits for you to sing next”. They were so mad both turned around to face the audience and flashed them too. Guys were hollering with delight, the ladies were booing. One of the two cursed at me and shouted “Your KJ is a mean sob!” Then both exited the door.

Yes, I admit, my remarks were cruel, childish & unprofessional. I am not proud of what I did. Presently, my karaoke show is now a family restaurant and I wouldn’t dare do that again.
