RRP on the GX5 in Australia is 899.00
A lot of retailers sell it for around $700. I did a lot of hunting, made the appropriate noises when I wasn't happy with the pricing and managed to swing it for $600 brand new!
In the land of oz, where you pay from every orifice (see one of my previous posts) for pro sound gear inspite, I think I did pretty well this time around.
Yes I know it isn't the perfect match to my EV SX300s, but the PLX1804 was twice the price, and I only use this amp about once a month.
I am proud of me
Now all I need is a nice 500W sub and I am good to go!
