Born in northern colorado grew up ridin horses didnt know what a bike was Toured the world all during the sixties. in the military A couple of the pervious posts reminds me of the time I walked up onto the main deck of a light cruiser Liittle Rock and about 100 feet from the bow was a concrete dike with a hill gently sloping up to freshly painted wind mills on the horizon white fences with tulips of all colors sprinkled about. Holstein cows were grazing in lush pastures and looked like they had just been run thru a car wash People in small boats scurried bye and all waved Welcome to our country.they all said It was the most beautiful country and the friendliest people in the world and I had the privelige of visiting Amsterdam Holland!!! Thanks... I would love to karaoke over there just one time!!!! Maybe in a boat goin down a canal in the middle of the night!!! Awesome...

Wow... lots of traveling amongst the forum where I guess I'm not that different.
Born in Valdosta, Georgia in the heat of the Vietnam War (68) my parents moved to Atlanta and later to Pensacola. Later joined the army where I spent the entire 4 years in ALABAMA (boot camp, training, and final station). Got out and have since moved around a bit doing lots of computer contract work (network/system management, computer security, training) - Pensacola, Florida (raised and lots of time there); Orlando, Florida (6 years); Huntsville, Alabama (5 1/2 years); Alaska (Kodiak, Anchorage, Fairbanks, Denali National Park - 3 years). I've worked in lots of places and enjoyed a little taste while I was there and often wanted to see much more (NYC, Chicago, San Juan, Portland, Seattle, and many more).
Met my fiance (getting married in December) online in a chat room where we had talked off and on about living/working in Alaska for a couple years and then finally met face to face about 5 years ago and we've been together ever since (including some crazy trips - including driving from Pensacola, Florida to Fairbanks, Alaska in 5 days pulling a trailer behind our Miata). We both love Alaska - the friendly people, the wonderful mountains, the wilderness. It's incredible to know that places like this still exists. My fiance was born and raised in Southern Cali - used to be a professional dancer (as a teenager she was a Dr. Pepper girl), choreographer (she helped to put together tryout routines for some of the Laker Girls and Fly Girls), a professional makeup artist, managed a residential treatment facility for teenage boys (It was training to put up with me!), and restaurant/retail management. She's a wonderful woman who makes me very happy. We'll be married Dec. 4th this year outside Gatlinburg, Tennessee (where we first spent time together).
Ok, so it's a little about me, a little about the soon to be wife, and a little about us... I'm just now starting to get her to sing at home. I'm hoping she comes to enjoy karaoke as much as I do!

Since Im an old duffer and have been around I will try to be brief...
I was born in Salt Lake City and stayed there all of my youth..I then ventured to Phoenix for a short time then returned to SLC for college..I got married..dropped out of college...got a job in retail..and started traveling as I advanced in the company..I moved to Pocatello Idaho, Las Vegas, back to Pocatello, then to Orem Utah, then to Lubbuck Texas where I worked both in Lubbock and Amarillo..then came back to Utah to live in Kaysville Utah where I lived for over 20 years..I have recently been transfeed to Boise Idaho and live in a bedroom community called Meridian...I have four grown boys that I am very proud of..you might have seen the oldest on Americas Most Wanted..NO..Hes a COP and the lead singer in a cop band called "PIGS IN A BLANKET"..They call him METRO MIKE...another of my sons sings back up and is a DJ in Vegas...

Hey Staunton, VA here. Haven't ALWAYS lived here tho. Started out in Millington, TN. Then When I was about 2 We moved back here for a brief moment. Then Dad got stationed in Havelock, NC (He is a retired Marine. OOH Rah!). I lived there til I was 9. Then the typical divorce happened and mom moved me and my 2 brothers back up here where I have remained stagnent for 13 years (not in the literal sense! Ew!). So, now I'm continuing my life as a 22 year old Virginian, where we ain't TOO warm (South) and we ain't TOO cold (North) WE'RE JUUUUST RIGHT! HAHA I just came up with that one!
G'Night all!
Amanda

I was born in Central Illinois (Aka Cornfield county, USA) where I lived until the ripe 'ol age of 17, when I decided to "see the world" and join the USAF. (Seeing the world consisted of Hot and Muggy San Antoinio, TX-Biloxi, MS-and I landed in Tampa, FL for my "final destination with the Military", where I stayed for 3 more years.) Then I met my first husband, and dragged him back home to the cornfields where we had our 2 children (no, not IN the cornfields!!!).
After 6 years in the flatlands (which is where I started my Karaoke biz, in 1993), we moved to his homestate of Georgia. We divorced after a 2 years in GA (Guess he needed his family more than me-but thats to be saved for a "Jerry Springer episode, or SEASON of episodes).
Anyway-I then met my current husband (Who is as much a karaoke junkie as I am) and we continue to live in the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains, where I have a local public karaoke show once a week, and karaoke jams at our place the other 6 days.
One day, I will figure out how to post songs on here, and join the crew.
Great to "meet" ya'll, and glad to be here!
Yours in music,
Traycee "Coyote KJ"

I WAS BORN IN SACRAMENTO IN 1957. RAISED IN RIO LINDA, WHICH IS NEXT DOOR TO SAC AND ATTENDED SCHOOL IN RIO LINDA. GOT MARRIED IN RIO LINDA IN 1978 THEN MOVED TO SAC AND HAD 5 CHILDREN. I'VE BEEN AT THE SAME JOB FOR 25 YEARS. PRETTY EXCITING SO FAR, HUH? THEN, THREE AND A HALF YEARS AGO MY HUSBAND AND I SPLIT UP. THATS WHEN I DECIDED TO TRY KARAOKE FOR THE FIRST TIME AND HAVE BEEN HOOKED SINCE. MY 17 YEAR OLD SON AKSED ME, " YOU KNOW MOM, WHY IS IT THAT WHENEVER PARENTS SPLIT UP THE MOM ALWAYS TAKES UP KARAOKE?". I HAD TO JUST LAUGH AT THAT ONE. I NOW HAVE THE MOST WONDERFUL BOYFRIEND WHO ALSO LOVES KARAOKE. WE GO OUT A COUPLE TIMES A WEEK AND HAVE MADE A LOT OF NEW FRIENDS. THATS ABOUT IT FOR NOW~
TO BE CONTINUED. . . .

I was Born & raised in Pensacola Florida. Lived there for 40 years, and Played Keyboard for 25 years. Never thought about singing. Moved to St Louis Missouri where I lived for 4 years, and did Engineering work for Monsanto. Moved to New Orleans 5 years ago, and Moved My ex-wife tp Pensacola. Met my present wife on Yahoo, and we have been together for 5 years now.
We went out to a bar one night, and got wasted, I tried Karaoke for the first time. Got back out the keyboard, and pro audio equipt. started playing again after a 10 year vacation. After much encouragement, I started doing karaoke shows every weekend, with some live keyboard.
I enjoy Elvis impersonation most, I have 6 of his Costumes, wigs and assorted props. I add a lot of extra to my shows when there are slow enough times for it. I Host Karaoke Because I enjoy it. Like I tell the People that hire me as Long as it's fun I'll keep entertaining. I don't have to do this for a living. Needless to say I play to a packed house most of the time.
When I have plenty of singers, sometimes I won't even Pick up a mic.
I Loved the Allstar story!!!!!!

Grew up in Pittsburgh PA, joined the Navy and got stationed in Southern Maryland (60 miles south of Wash DC), that was 33 years ago and I'm still here. Now I work for the Department of Defense, and also own a small bar.(ever see the video for Toby Keith's "I Love This Bar") that pretty much describes the bar. I host the Karaoke on Sunday nights
