Karaoke video and or audio to house tv, house tv to house sound system, juke box to house sound system.........bridge tap......... .....cable to house sound & to house tv with juke box to house sound, with only karaoke video to house tv.....all kinds of ways for the signal to bleed into your sound system.....must remove bridge tap...

I use windscreens or signal ground lifts for this.
If you are going to edit quotes jeffsw6, I suggest you learn how to do it properly so that it doesn't look like one person is saying something they didn't! That was not I who stated what you implied I did.

What do you mean, he said the Jukebox was playing, so signal was traveling down the speaker cables from the Jukebox. So if his signal cables for his speakers (which at the time were carrying no signal) were lin proximity to those unshielded speaker wires or the voice coils of the speakers themselves, it's certainly more than feasible to see an induced signal.
The more unlikely but possible scenario is that the power amp in the jukebox is bleeding voltage to ground with the waveform of the program material. If the power amps in his speaker are seeing a varying voltage on the ground wire while the signal carriers are at a constant zero, the fluctuating difference in potential could lead to a signal that the power amp could amplify (I believe it would be the inverse waveform of the actual program material at that point). The curious thing here would be to see if the behavior changes when he turns the mixer on.

Well it's like give and take.
For induction to happen there has to be a source.
Switch an oscilloscope on and you instantly see 60Hz. I see 50Hz.
It is the mains voltage that is radiating from the mains cable.
A signal traveling down a speaker wire also radiates / transmits.
Put a compass near a current carrying cable and it deflects.
For induction to happen there has to be transmission.

That as you can see would be a very reduced inductance.
Possible at a very reduced volume.
Think matey may give us more info next week.

Don't mean to leave you guys hanging, but you lost me a LOOOOONG time ago. All I know is what I already told you. Hope you have a good time discussing it, but as for me, I'm LOST.

Me too. But I think I'm picking up the entire discussion on the fillings in my teeth.

Was the music coming out very loud?
I'm guessing no.
Did volume increase when you turned up the volume on the speaker? I'm guessing no.
My best guess is the 15" woofer in your jbl speaker was resonating along with the jukebox speaker.
Meaning the jukebox speaker was making your speaker vibrate and produce the same frequencies. Tricking you into thinking something crazy elecrtic was happening.

Liquiddye, that's kinda what I was thinking, but didn't know if that was possible. The Bose speakers were hanging right behind my speakers. At first I thought I was just hearing the Bose speakers, but then when I put my ear to my speakers, I could hear the jukebox music. No, it wasn't very loud, but it was there.

While I understand sympathetic resonance, I'm still curious in that Rosario said that he experienced the sound when he powered up the speaker, but didn't say whether the sound was there regardless of power supplied. My question then is shouldn’t this happen when the speaker has no power applied as well?
After all, it's only vibrating the cone isn't it?

This is one of the funniest things I have read on here for a while.
Thank you.

I actually experience the same thing in my truck. My subs sit right behind my front seats. When I crank up the tunes the bass is actually amplified by my 2 - 18" sub boxes.
