Just realized the dreaded Nadys outlasted our first Yamaha mixer by a year. It died on us two days out of warranty. Cost alot more, too.

Lonman's suggestion of using the cheap Nady's for this guys show might have been a sort of joke but it could actually work in his case. Okay, back to Jerry.

Wasn't touting the 2 years as a plus. Was expressing amazement that they lasted that long.

Ahh gotchya, I misunderstood your point.

As I've said before, I don't fault anyone for buying the Nady's, we all have our own decisions to make about cash flow, expenses, quality and such. I have to say, if the choice came down to putting out Nady's or going with wired mics, I'd probably end up getting the Nady's too. The convenience of wireless is just to good to pass up.

You're wrong Dionne Warwick, give it up.

Mr. diapers, I have been going over your posts.
Got to say the more I read them...
How about sticking round and helping us in more areas.
You do get some nice toys and certainly know more about karaoke than I do.
By the way this one was good

Thanks Buddy! I gotta say, your conviction in this one could have only been derived from real-life experience! Way to knock em' out Tiger!

Hmmm.
I feel really silly now.
I thought you were older.
Now it looks like you are in your early teens.
That explains a lot.
Yes I thought your handle a bit strange.
Eek.
Sorry.

for $20/year we can avoid the drunk/cord rodeo

That's cheaper than a mic. lead.
How do they do it?

Look at his name. It speaks volumes, methinks.

I've had wireless since I started in this business and have never had an issue with people not returning the mics to me or walking off with them all together. The worst I've had is the occasional drop which in most cases are just complete accidents (an occasional idiot just not treating them with respect has occurred but is rare). I love the ease of setup, lack of cords, additional "fun" aspect they add and I can't imagine going back at this point.

This has been my experience as well. My Shures have been dropped here and there, but are no worse for the wear. I do replace the wind screens when they start looking rough.

Since this is straying off the subject, I will start a new thread. Jus a reminder that SM58's are the tanks in the wars. Put it on your credit card if you have to!
