Anyone else going? I'm going to be there on the 15th-16th.

NAMM – The National Association of Music Merchants, one of the largest music product trade shows in the world held annually in Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, CA couple blocks away from Disneyland.

I lived in Orange County about 7 miles away from the convention until we moved 4 yrs ago. I never attended because it’s not open to the general public. Memberships only in retail, commercial, manufacturers & affiliates. I never bothered to find out if being a kj's eligible in these categories.

Anyway, I wish I could. But we’ll appreciate it if you can post back what’s new in the karaoke world of entertainment, such as new speakers, the latest electronic gadgets & hi-tech gizmos with karaoke applications. Thanks!

To be fortunate enough to derive an income from a source as fulfilling as karaoke music has got to be as close to heaven as we can get here on earth!

Unfortunately not this year. Budgets being what they are, we've scaled back on the trade shows (which really just turn into large scale sales pitches) and instead will focus more on conventions where there's more education rather than just sales.

Never been to NAMM..although my dad fought in it...

Will probably be in vegas for Mobile Beat feb 1-3 though!

No, but I'm awaiting the release of the new EV speakers at said show.

I GO EVERY YEAR, keep running into Stevie Wonder but he still never notices me......actually I don't know exactly what day but at least one day for sure.....I am a full fledged DJ as well as KJ and I do sound for bands, always look for the new a weird stuff, oh yeah anything free they give away.......one year I got a box of SC cdgs.....for years I did the after party for Fender, called Fretfest...that would pack the place...I had people wanting to take a picture of me just because I looked like somebody important..lmao... yeah, I was the nuthead trying to do the sound for the jam sessions, drunk over the hill industrialytes...
