I posted on f/b that I would be happy to send people copies of my book by artist - I have sent out 6 already today - I will see if this means I can get away with printing way less books than I anticipated. Most people respond by saying they're happy to "go green" and not print out -- just keep it on their computers, peruse at their will, print out song slips and bring them in already filled in. Works for me. Far less expensive.
Yeah i've always had my books online, even in the same format as I have in the club and usually completely updated/current (pdf) that anyone can download/save - even search on if they have the recent Adobe reader. I know people that do use it and print up their slips in advance (I know this only because the slips online are different than the ones in the club). On occasion I will see one open on a laptop. Haven't seen a decline for book needs unfortunately. An seriously thinking about a kiosk - not to replace books (my preference when I go to a show I like to peruse through the books) but maybe to cut down on needing as many. Plus the phone app will hopefully be useful too in that respect.

I don't have a lot of table texters - these people are pretty social, thank goodness. I do have a few friends that in a social situation think it's hilarious to text me when we're at the same place - I turn off my phone now...they look at me after they text and wait giddily for a response....then they realize I have de-phoned....
LOL, yeah I actually had some people text me in the past their next request - yeah right! Get up and tell me!
