Looks a lot better with the larger white text. Much easier to read. Displays well in all major browsers, that's a big plus. Broken link for the Wedding Ceremony Music, but I assume you're aware of that already.

The only suggestion I have at this point is to find a neutral background color to put behnd the background graphic and then center the graphic and all that content. The site looks great for someone whose browser window is the same size or smaller than your graphic. Someone like me who runs a full 1080p monitor with the browser maximized, I get a huge white border around the bottom and right sides of the content.

Other than that it's coming along really nice. PM me if you decide you want to try my suggestion but need assistance. (Take a look at my site and try resizing your browser to get an idea of what I'm suggesting, if you'd like).

Simple and effective. I like it.

As a potential customer I would want to know how much and under what terms but that's just me.

I think I got it changed....at least when I zoomed out on FF it had a BG color and pic was centered

Thanks for the suggestion, never would have caught that being that my laptop only goes 1024 wide.

I have been debating that....

The pricing is there, it is in the wedding packet PDF

On one hand some people might not take the time to contact us to get pricing, but on the other hand I want people to contact us so I can reel them in.

I'll probably leave out pricing directly on the website for a couple month, and then put pricing directly on the website, and see what happens.

I've always chosen not to post pricing at all for a couple reasons. First, I don't want people to hire me because they like my price, I want them to hire me because they like what I do, what I'm about, etc. Price can work itself out later. Second, it provides me the ability to maneuver. I'll admit it, I often base my pricing on the nature of the gig being offered. If someone is asking me to play a private party that has a high Bull Sh!t factor, then I will intentionally price myself to make it worth my while (or in some cases price myself out of the gig completely). On the flip side it also allows me to work with people who maybe can't afford my typical rate without them knowing that they're getting a deal (believe me this has been important in more than a few cases). Finally, related to that point, it ensures that if someone is serious about hiring me that I get the chance to talk to them before they decide I'm too expensive. Posting my price online, those that think my price is too high are just going to move on to the next competitor. If they call or email me, I have a chance to justify why they want me over the competitor and show them how I can work with them on price. Personally, I believe (although I can't prove) that I get more clients by doing that than I would from having my prices posted online. Plus the added bonus that I don't have to update my website every time I change my pricing.

Looks good horizontally, but vertically the white background shows up just below the graphic still. It's looking good though, if you can get that BG color to cover the whole thing you're golden IMHO.

Nice.

You might want the 2 links on your wedding page to open in a new window so that when visitors close that window they have not exited your site.

I also feel that pricing should not be posted on the site, do everything you can with your site to intice the start of communication between the potential customer and you.

Edit just read all of Tony's post above concerning pricing...I could not have stated it better. Tony is absolutely correct.

Yeah, I noticed that too, but can't figure it out in the CSS

The page physically ends just below the "IT'S ABOUT THE MUSIC" phrase, so some how got to get the browser BG color to change to #333333 or make the web page bigger/streachable.

I could repeat the BG image, but IMHO that looks crappy.

Tried to use the " background-size: 100%;" in the CSS, to streach the BG image, but no luck.

I'll keep working on it today, but if anyone has a suggestion (Tony), let me know.

If I get a chance today I'll capture the CSS and see if I can figure out where the problem is. No guarantees though, I was just handed another pile of XLR's from the studio last night that I have to test and repair. :)

DUH.....After re-reading my post Irelaized I was adding the BG image and color in the wrong spot.

CHanged the color and BG image for the BODY in the CSS, and it seems to be working now!!!!!

Looks and works well, although...

I agree. A solid background is the way to go. The older the eyes, the harder it is to read....

Other than that, go with it.

Not sure what you changed but now the background is stretching to fill the whole window regardless of size, so that works!! I maximized it to full 1080p (1920x1080) on a 24 inch display and it still looks great, nicely done!!

Think I used the " background-size: 100%;" in CSS to stretch the background image. From what I read, not a lot of browsers support it. Mine on FireFox 3.6 keeps the BG image to the original size, with a dark BG color filling in the "missing" areas. I assume you must be using some new fandangeled browser that supports the "background-size: 100%;" in CSS.

Thanks again for checking it is GREATLY appreciated!!!
