I havent been terribly active on the boards, and the best way I have found to get to know my fellow potential playmates is either to smack them or just ramble in boredom until they come on board . I can't smack anyone except a very few, so on I shall ramble.....

Oh and I DIG THIS SITE. I need to get myself more involved- I go in spurts depending on how busy I get, and depending on my mood- ANd i'm a crazy pregnant lady in pigtails so WHO KNOWS how my mood will CHANGE .

I am so sorry that your auditions were cancelled. I was going to change my messenger name to GO HEATHER GO for next week to support you...but guess I can't do that now

So nice to talk to you again! I miss everyone so much! I miss your singing! Maybe we should enter some more Online Idol contests......!

Nothing too much more exciting..went to the throat specialist, and he said that my vocal cords were in tip top shape, no problems, and that the gurgle is apparently all in my head and singing from my throat!

So, taking the singing lessons, and learning how to fix it! That is good news....and my country vocal spotlight has been changed to October 3, so I have ages now to practice my Martina song....just so I don't butcher it !

I was glad to get to know you during TNBT and I'm glad you've found a little free time to come over here!! I'm working on LOTS of little lullaby ditties especially for you dear!!

Actually, I am trying to find a really, really good vocal coach as I was inspired and kicked off my lazy butt by certain people. I've always had bad experiences with them (the voice teachers) in the past - never could find a decent one that didn't just have me sing to them, say 'good job' and that was that!

Well, anyway, digressing here as usual....many congrats on your baby to be!! Is this your first?? My babes are 18 & 13......... Growing up tooooooooooo fast - cherish every moment and all that!!

Allstar I like you more and more- I have a fondness for grumpy anti social types OO.

Jeanne the best advice for finding a good vocal coach I can give you is to GO THROUGH THE UNIVERSITIES- Alot of people freak out about it, but you want to find a CLASSICAL voice coach, or else look around for an ACCREDITED jazz teacher- avoid "pop" coaches, they will ruin your chords and not help you learn how to stretch them- I am not a TRUE belter (well I WAS), but you can "fake" it so to speak by using a high chest voice thats half in your head. that sounded confusing eh? But anyhoo- look for a coach that has a DEGREE in VOICE.

my name is mikey....im a taurus and i like long walks on the beach....the last book i read was some epic about a guy named dick, a girl named jane, and a dog whos name escapes me.....all i remember is they used to run a lot for no reason....i enjoy candlelight dinners as long as they are illuminating spaghetti-Os and faygo moonmist soda....i am good with a flyswatter and i own one pair of sweatpants oh and a teddy i got from my soulmate.... the pregnant thing though is a dealbreaker, but i wanted you to know me so now you do and let the smacking begin !!!!
