I'm sure many of you know this but for others, I have found some decent tracks from Favorite Hits Karaoke on Walmart.com. I ordered one of the collection discs, 60 songs for $34.95 and they sound pretty good. Sound quality is good and timing is correct on the 3 or 4 I checked. Another Good source to build a library. They are licensed as well, by the way, they run their "Licensed by URL, at the end of the track. www.bottomlinesources.com, which is Karaoke USA, so they can be easily found and are not trying to hide their identities. And for you "OMG, you can only use SC/CB karaoke" robots, please don't comment.

Rick you deserve a very big cigar for that one. No one has ever said it so eloquently.

I happen to believe that there are other good karaoke manufacturers than SC or CB but I still have a hard time passing up their quality product just because some feel that it makes you a target. As long as you operate above board then you should have nothing to fear from SC or CB. Right now my choices are limited to SC, CB or PHM because my cd drive does not read CDG sub-code and they are the only disc based manufacturers that make them already ripped for me. I will be purchasing the KJ Media Pro drive in August.

Doesn't really need an explaination does it! Personally, I don't mind being detested by some here, puts me into some pretty good company as far as I am concerned!

Sorry to disappoint you Thunder, but I did not come out from underneath a rock - I am not one of YOUR slimy reptilian brethren! However I have been perched on top of a rock and following the piracy topics (sad to say they seem to be the only posts on this forum anymore) and watching the 5-6 posters that dominate this topic…wondering…do these people not have a life? OR if this is their life, I really feel sorry for them. I am tempted to say just let the manus solve the piracy problem, you folks are not going to solve it…but then I have to admit there have been more than a couple of ideas brought up on this topic that the manus should take under consideration. Hopefully they are following these forum topics as well. Bowing out not and back to my perch on top of the rock. Carry on with your playground bullying tactics.

Getting back to the topic at hand.... rickgood wrote: I'm sure many of you know this but for others, I have found some decent tracks from Favorite Hits Karaoke on Walmart.com. I have not personally checked this out because it probably would contain too many repeats for me (as one who already has crossed the 10K song threshold). You're probably right... that sounds like it's a good deal for somebody who might be just starting out to build a collection.

Thunder, if this is the best reply you can come up with, I think "clever" was a compliment. Low down and conniving would have been a better choice, but he chose "clever" and he will have to live with it.

Mrmarog I know I am clever but I am not refering to that word, and I am sure you know what I am refering to!

Just checked out the Walmart site and wonder? Just who are some of those Manu's they have on there All Star, Billboard and Party Tyme I have heard of but there are some I haven't.
Are we to take it these are legal discs? Could be a good source for songs not made by the BIG 3 and I'm not talking autos either.

The target buyer for Walmart is Joe public not your professional KJ So I winder what commercial licensing they have.
