if you don't find what you're looking for, ask the KJ maybe we have it.. Actually, this statement by itself is sensible, and I state it on the mic all of the time. I get in new discs often, but I'm not going to reprint books- or even reprint the New Arrival- every time I do. I will almost ALWAYS have more discs than are shown in the books.

Although I did have sporadic requests from tapes over the years, this was one piece of equipment that wasn't worth replacing. I would however if I got more people asking about being able to play tapes but I don't see that happening. I do have a player at home I could bring in if someone emails me ahead of time they'd like to play a tape. Lonnie, If I come out to Washington and e-mail you ahead of time will you setup a 4 track reel to reel for me so I can sing to some of my old band recordings. The music really wasn't all that well done, but the personalities were great! , I have an 8 track reel to reel, but in your case i'd say drop it to disc!

I reprint full books every 9-12 months. I do however reprint an entire new section everytime I get new music - not just a new page or copy of a disc cover, but incorporate all the new songs into a new section. Rarely do I have anything that is NOT listed unless I am waiting for a few more new discs - which in that case I will send out Facebook/Myspace announcements that I have these new songs that are not listed yet until I get the rest of my order but will list the songs online so anyone can see/sing them.

I still have my old four track unit somewhere but the last time I pulled the tapes for some reason they were sticking together and brittle, I think storing them in the attic for 30+ years may have been the wrong thing to do!

I'd be willing to bet that more than you think have a FB account when you search the email.

Definitely on the F/B. I depend on spreading news quickly via f/b and I'd say probably 90% of the people who frequent my shows also use f/b for keeping track - like new music, special events (karaoke benefits), etc. I have e-mail addys but believe it or not, if I say I e-mailed someone, they say just put it on f/b and I'll see it for sure.

No, I meant that THEY don't want to take the time. I don't want to beg, I do announce it at gigs usually at least once and as I said, I ask for it on my song slips.
