I don't know if you have seen the Scorpions on Youtube with Vanessa Mae doing the electric violin on that song live, but it is HOT.

Anyway, I have a friend who plays the violin and I would love to sing that song on stage with her and put it in Youtube! My Youtube name is linbrookbowlrocker and I would love to be able to borrow or buy this song from whoever here has it or can get a hold of it. Sound Choice is out of stock. I looked at other web stores too.

I've heard of bootleg copies but with a flaw in the beginning so I would rather buy or borrow the original.

Please please please let me know and I will make you proud of your help with a youtube vid!

Thanks

SC8516 is the Scorpions who I saw last year for my first rock concert in many years. Their last tour supposedly.

you can get the soundchoice version from selectatrack. Its listed under the PR version, which is karaokechannel but all the tracks are soundchoice music.

Karaokechannel is owned by stingray, which bough the majority of the soundchoice catalog a while back.

Like stated above, the PR version IS the Sound Choice version just under Karaoke Channel splash screens.

I get get the track without the graphical lyrics but I need the graphics for this song. If you recall, there are a few parts in the beginning where there are just pauses of silence before a vocal -- this is pretty hard to time without the graphics.

Sound Choice is OUT of the disc.

Yes Sound Choice is OUT of the disc, but you CAN download or have a custom disc made of the song via selectatrack that IS the Sound Choice music/graphics under Karaoke Channel (PR code on selectatrack) label. If that is not going to work for you, good luck in your quest.

I'm trying to order from that selectatrack link you provided, but I see no PR version of the song. I see an SR, SB, and MS with the SR sounding a lot like the Sound Choice version. Is that it?

Sorry I meant SR.

For HOME use only. Best to try finding the disc on e-bay or such.

BTW- the version on LG239 is MUCH better, IMHO.

Why for HOME use only?

And why is the Legend's better? I need the long version (extended ending) for the violin jam and the Sound Choice has that. Does the Legend's?

Sound Choice now sells downloadable tracks WITH on-screen graphics... they sent me an email a few months ago. Here's a link:

http://store.thekaraokechannel.com/stor ... =scorpions

That's their Scorpions page... but there's bad news. Not all the tracks are available with graphics; just some of them. And wouldn't ya just know it, "Still Loving You" is one of the tracks that doesn't. Figures, don't it? Still, check back because that may change.

If you absolutely HAVE to have the graphics, you might have to look for a used copy. I ain't sellin' mine.

Anyone know what happened to "DooWop.com?" They used to be a great place to find used, refurbished, and out-of-print karaoke discs. Now they don't have squat. I searched "Scorpions," and there were a handful of songs, but "Still Loving You" isn't one of them.

I find it discouraging that so many Sound Choice discs have been discontinued. I really wish I had bought the "Hits Of Led Zeppelin vol. 2" Spotlight disc when it was available.

If you can live without the graphics, Amazon is a good place to shop. You can buy the MP3 audio file for just $.99. Like someone mentioned earlier, they're listed under "Stingray Music," which is apparantly Sound Choice's new parent company.

Selectatrack sells Sound Choice?? How long have they been doing that? I gotta check that out.

I'm a big Scorpions fan & have recorded a bunch of rare songs. In some cases, I paid someone to actually play them. So, for some "shameless self promotion  " you can check out my renditions of "Bad Boys Running Wild" and "Blackout" over at Singers Showcase:

http://karaokescene.com/ss/song.php?id=87072

Good luck finding the track! I'd love to hear it once you're done adding the violin!

Speculation on my part, but it could be because kj's are trying to purchase all the OOP discs they can to 'get legit'. It's harder to find any hard to find discs from any source anymore.

They sell 500 Karaoke Channel tracks - all rock/metal, so chances are you already have most of them lol.

Thanks, Lonnie! You're always "in the know" when it comes to these things. As always, I appreciate the info!

Oh, yeah... I bought all the Headbangers Spotlight discs back in the day, lol. I've turned to other sources lately now that SC isn't pumping 'em out no more. Thanks, my man!

Mark, that Led Zeppelin Spotlight disc is available on e-bay. I searched it when I was listing my DK discs.
