Yes they contain onscreen lyrics. Cue is correct in the 'non-printed' lyrics as in a piece of paper. These are in fact cdg versions.

Someone please de-confuse me. Are there lyric swipes or not? Mightywiz?

Does not contain printed lyrics means it does not have a jacket inserted with the lyrics printed (like Pocket Songs does on some of their CDGs and CDs).

If it did not contain On-Screen lyrics, it would have said that or does not contain Graphics.
Exactly Cuball. Printed lyric sheets require a lyric reprint license from the copyright owner.... even if Clark/Slep Music is in Australia.

I think I'll pass.

Or you could get an original on ebaY for over $400.00

Note: I am not the seller of this ebaY item.

I emailed the guy days ago, told him he'd never sell it at that price, he said he would keep it.

I guess I'm missing something here...first of all, I can go months at my shows without hearing an Eagles song. So even though I do have original Eagles music, there just doesn't seem to be a demand for it. Secondly, I suppose having a collectible version of an Eagles karaoke disc might be a novelty but seriously...ultra small market. I suppose for collectors, having that one thing a few other people want is a good thing, but seriously... it's a karaoke disc. Again, am I missing something here?

Not really Karen it's just another collectable piece.
Kinda like all the Star War stuff I bought my kid when the movie first came out. If I would have been smart it would have never gotten out of the box let alone played with broken and thrown away, and I wish I still had as they are worth a small mint.

I wish I could see the next collectable but you never know what it's going to be.

Simple solution.... Just buy 2 of every toy you buy as a present, and keep one unopened and stored away.

The difference is the market. There are literally millions of Star Wars collectors. How many people in the world want the SC Eagles disc as a collectible? Hundreds? Maybe a few thousand? If someone bought the disc because they want "the whole set", etc i can understand but if they bought it thinking they'll make big profit someday they are sorely mistaken.

"BTW- does this mean that SC is still importing discs for re-sale/distribution that are licensed under the same laws as the UK yet unlicensed in the U.S.? Or are these discs already in-country?"

Joe, what gives you the idea that a disc purchased by a retail level consumer directly from a seller in AU is being imported for resale or distribution?

How could a custom disc that is ordered online already be in-country?

You really are reaching.

Nice way of recreating the original discs, but it wouldn't work for 8941 - that had 16 tracks. As I am aware, MyKaraokeCdg allow 15 tracks maximum.

Then you drop one of the Carry On songs and pick only 1. Seriously doubt that this is a high ticket song that you need both the version with the back up vocals & the one without. I know neither have ever been sung at my show.
There were so few discs that had 16 tracks I don't think it wiould be a huge impact dropping a song or two, or creating a disc with those few omitted songs.

If I were doing it, I'd get rid of the non background vocal version of Carry on. 1)because it keeps the continuity of the disc intact and 2) I can imagine that getting enough singers to perform the other voices would be difficult at best as I have had a hard time finding anyone to pull off the Steve Perry parts of the Steve Perry/ Gregg Rolie duets from Journey. I can do the perry part but I like to do the Gregg Rolie part as well. I've done Feeling That Way a few times just by myself.

SC needs to combine "Feeling That Way/Anytime" together then you would have only 15 songs! I had a great Steve Perry singer but she moved to Vegas. Her & I would do both together but I had to do some quick clicking to get the two songs to mate as was designed originally.

I would like to see some pre-Perry Journey stuff with just Gregg Rolie ~ "Look Into The Future" would be awesome & I'd do it all the time!

If you are playing it on a disc, they are actually in sequence on the disc & as soon as Feeling That Way stops (musically), press the next track & Anytime starts immediately - no title screen or anything. I used to do the combo and allow others to do both when requested, although it's once in a Blue Moon that it is anymore.

I figured if using a disc you could do that but I'd always had mine shifted.

Yes, it was designed to be merged together hence no intro screen as well as "Feeling That Way" abruptly stops.

They really should fix it.

They have the combined version at the custom site.
