Strangely enough, this is one of the very VERY few discs - BS9017-that Backstage did a decent job with ( The other being Neil Diamond- and that's about it). The rest were frisbees. It has the same amount of licensing as the SC disc, and I got it for a dollar in a discount bin.. The singers are fine with it....

Might want to give it a listen...

Also, a caveat. I have read on the SOUND CHOICE forum that someone is having trouble getting product from Clark / SC in Australia ( waiting 2 months), as well as answers to any e-mails. Since one orders from the SC site rather than direct from Clark, I hazard a guess that there MAY be import problems due to the fact that it's for disty/re-sale, rather than direct.

Maybe later, if and when SC re-locates the corporate offices to AU....

I have to agree with Joe on this. I have both. If I wasn't a collector, I would have never bought the SC.

I wouldn't purposely buy the Backstage, i'd opt for Zoom & SBI tracks is the SC wasn't available. Anything is better than the BS (aptly named) disc. It served it's purpose when nothing else was available - had one in my mobile rig - the singers didn't like it, but used it.

Good luck to the seller but beside been a collector, this disk is not worth $400.00  Zoom has a better disk with the exception of New Kid in Town of which you can get the SC version from Karaoke Channel

Really? I have both of them BS9017 and SC8125 you found it in the dollar bin because thats where it belongs. No comparison in my opinoin. The SC disc blows it away. :2cents:

Couldn't agree more.

Just having the full version of Hotel California is most important as well!

I was told about Wall's post regarding Hotel California. IMHO, Medacy's Karaoke Party version (KP2-5997 track 1) blows away any other.

I was told about Joe's post regarding Hotel California by reading his quote in you're post! LOL

Madacy Entertainment showed up in this article a few years back:

I have an ORIGINAL UN-OPENED SC 8125 Eagles disc if anyone wants to buy it. I bought it from the owners of Karaoke World in San Francisco a few years back. This is one of the first pressings of this disc. (there were two pressings i was told). I paid $90 for it at the time.

Don't really need it anymore as i picked up another one from a defunct kj company for $20.

Sealed. Unopened. Who's the collector here?

I would buy SC8125 if someone has an extra. I pretty new to this game and am still building my collection. :)
So far no one seems to want to part with their disc. PM me if you have an extra for sale. And no I do not want to pay an arm and a leg for it. Thanks

I know This Is an Old Thread, But I'm Looking to purchase a replacement SC8125 For use in My Show Due to the fact that I lost both my Original Discs in a Storage fire a few years back.

If Anyone is willing to let one go, please let me know. I sing the eagles a lot and I need a few of the songs off that disc so I can sing them again.

I was about to direct you to Sound Choice Australia where I ordered my back-up 8125 all 15 songs for $75.00 but looks like they don’t make it anymore. That was last year. Wonder why.

Maybe for the same reasons that the SC8125 is no longer available?

I'm sorry to say, but this is the probably the only place that you will be able to find your SC 8125... And not at the kind of price you're looking to pay either...

Yep, I put that in dream in the trash way back. Best thing I found is the Sunfly SFWS-001. With shipping you can get it for under $20.00...

I was wondering how SC is able to sell the "Gem" with some Eagles songs in it, but not the SC8125...Also does anyone have the Sunfly WS001? Most of the time they have real good stuff, I was wondering about this one...

So Far The Best Eagles Disc That is Available is The Zoom Platinum Artists Vol 40 (Hits of the Eagles Vol. 1) There is also a Eagles Vol.2 (Zoom Platinum Artists 50).
They Sound Pretty Good But the Sound Choice one is still better. So I'll Just Keep Hoping. =)

The Vol 2 (Zoom 50) has a bunch of Eagles tunes not on 8125 or BS. It's worth getting in addition to either or if you have Eagles fans. Mine gets used a couple times a week.

Correct! 8125 cds were pulled of the market long time ago and no longer available. But all 15 songs were available as custom order from SC Australia for some time, until of late. It’s no more! I ordered my backup from them last year for $75.00.

 I think (not sure) they took down the 8125 song selections from custom order upon the introduction of the Gem series as a marketing ploy or some kind of a selling point for their new mp3g files. Hmmmmmm!

If That's The Case Then Why would they not continue to sell the Songs that are NOT available in the GEM Series. (Heartache Tonight, Long Run, Etc.)
