I believe they were made by some other Manu, and Priddis bought them (and added them to their library/catalogue) several years later.

If i had the money, i would totally buy a whole set. I haven't been thru the whole list yet but a lot of these have songs that simply aren't available anymore, as they were only produced on one or two labels.

I may have to see if I can come up with $40 before 3 & 4 sell out tho *ponder*

you can get these disc's on 800-karaokedotcom

disc 1 is a re-release so track 2 is different.

they have a lot of disc's you can't buy anywhere.

i thought the "retro classics" were rare but bought the set from them, and they were factory pressed disc's.

So you're suggesting that people go to that site and pay more there for the same discs I'm selling here?

Alrighty then.

Maybe mightywiz is suggesting the price be raised.

I never thought they were worth the $15 bucks a pop I paid in the 90's. Although I only have #1 & 2 (I think), most all the tracks have been replaced with better versions. They were definitely great when other versions weren't available.

I actually think they're high quality tracks. Certainly equal to Pioneer.

In any event, there are people here who didn't think the DK discs were worth $20 each, either, but I've sold about $500 worth at $20 each on e-bay so far. To each their own.

If the rest don't sell here, I'll list them there. I have no doubt they will sell.

IMO Pioneer was much better. I have no doubt they will sell though, there were alot of good songs on them.

There's still a lot on those discs that aren't available anywhere else. And for the price, they are pretty good quality, IMHO, certainly nothing that I would be leery about playing for my singers.

no i'm just saying they are not so rare as you state them to be.......
myself i would pay the extra 1.95 to get a brand new disc then $20 for a used disc. at the best i would pay $10 for used disc's.

but i'm a cheap B!@#$%D anyways......lol

Youre right "to each his own" I have a few of these discs & love them. I also think the dk discs ar cheesy & pioneer is the best in my opinion. Pioneer is musically the closest to the original music Ive ever listened to. Everyone tastes & ears are different...Good Luck sellin them! Im sure you'll have no problems.

I am very interested in buying the complete set, just checked them with my songbook, and seems worth buying. Is there a discount price for the whole set? Could you please pm me. I do have several of these songs by other manus, but if these are priddis, I believe it will be an upgrade. Please let me know. Thanks.

Just got them today, and I can say that although they are used, they are in fantastic condition.
Well worth the money spent! Thanks, Bird! You're a real doll!

Agreed, When I baught my set (there were 11 total) I was happy to have songs that just weren't avaiable by any other producer at the time. I still think (while they're not top quality) they do sound better than most.
