Hey guys... This is going to be difficult. I am coming to America. (sound track to Jaws please) I do not have as much money as uncle Gadaffi so can not move as freely. I am coming to see one member from this forum who will put me up. Will regret it. We would (if we get pissed enough) like to visit any deserving karaoke host that can do magic. Please list yourself. And tell me why we should come.

And tell me why we should come. What part of America? Remember, you could package up 60 Englands and fit them inside the United States. So it is a relevant question. If you are in Cincinnati, you can't come see me. Unless you are in town on the second Tuesday of a month. I turn into a pumpkin at all other times.

Our honored Kiwi member Morgan Le Fay toured most of the US a short while back. She indeed did stay with members of this fine group.. from coast to coast as I recall.. Only bad thing was a cold.. (Probably the airplane) Publish your schedule, people will step up..

Find the host that is most centralized so as many other hosts as possible can join in on the fun.

Yes Morgan Le Fay stayed with us for 1 night but I don't recall her having a cold, maybe it came on afterward. What a blast we had, oh I'll never forget it!

San Francisco, California would be drivable. Reno maybe. I am not looking for the best sound. Not the best rotation. I want a night out that I will remember for the rest of my life. Give me magic.

You'd have to drop your britches, bend over and grab your ankles for something like that......magical, not so much, but something one would truely never forget...... ......just a little Yankee humor, my friend....Mike and I are a bit east of Chicago.....quite a distance away, sorry to say

at J Reverb! Come to Johnny's, fairly centrally located. If you go there, I will be there! Anybody else?

Okay, looks like I had better spill the beans because, although Jerry mentioned wanting to meet Ripman, Johhny et al, he is going to be at the opposite end of the country to see-------The Hell Hole. But I didn't want that to be his only impression of the USA so we are scouting around. The parameters would probably be no further south than Toqer and no further north than Lonman with no promises that we will even make it past the Nevada state line due to fincances, cars, etc. But we are working on it. The time frame is the first few weeks of Oct. For those who might want to rendezvous, we are looking at doing a Brewery tour of Tahoe and then staggering in to a Wall of Sound show to see if he really has one. Would love to get to Tacoma but may not be able to coax a car that far. Same for Toqer and maybe even a RogerNiner Extravaganza in San Mateo. It all depends on juggling money/cars/dogs/day jobs/Hell Hole shows, etc. with the other sites he wants to see. So it isn't a sure thing yet but ideas are being gathered. Details will follow if we get any.

Well, darn. Doubt I can go but once the tour dates are announced, I'll take a look.

Will let you know when it gets closer. Didn't want to say anything too soon as we can't promise anything yet but didn't want people on the other side of the country to go to any needless trouble, either.

I thank many of you. I would especially like to thank JR. The very generous gesture you made to Lep. was awesome. That is already something I hold as valuable. Like for as long as I live.
That does not discount others. JD I thank you. And toqer. You Yanks are really not that bad after all.
