I went to one joint, and they had a half dozen naked women doing the splits on four foot centered ceiling beams.....don't know what it cost them.....but that was some crazy overhead..... .....when my turn came for sing, my mind went blank......and all I could do was hum the theme song from "Leave It To Beaver"....

Gotta call tonight to DJ at a bar I've done a couple gigs for. I was paid $150 for an outdoor karaoke gig there a year ago this past summer. Then I did inside karaoke for $100 this St Patty's Day. I had given her a coupon in the mail and she used it to get down to $100.

The gig is Oct 29 which is one of the biggest bar nights of the year. I told her for karaoke and DJ, it would be $250. She asked me to pare my system down to bare bones and give me a price. I told her $225. She said it is a small bar and $200 is the most they can pay. I declined the offer. Anybody else that is anybody is booked that night already. I'm not working one of the biggest nights (and give up my Halloween partying night) for that price. We will see if she comes back at me.

Headed to Toronto in the morning, will still hang out here and hope to hit the Blue Lagoon again while up there. I'll be back next Thursday!!!!
