Do you mean that the manufacturers aren't putting out the songs you want or that there just weren't too many songs done by the artists this year that anyone wants to sing?

To me it seems to be a bit of both. Releases from the majors seem to be a bit thin this year (ex: Chartbuster cutting back the number of tracks per disc and skipping months). I've had requests for songs that have been on the radio for months and still haven't come out on disc, where last year they'd have been out almost instantly. I've found myself going online to Karaoke Version and TriceraSoft more and more and getting songs a la carte.

Has there been any new classics released that were not available for karaoke?

I really like Devo but you can only find Whip It as the only song out there.

I have Working In A Coalmine and Through Being Cool. I know there is at least one more that was available as well.

I've had terrific success with Karaoke-Version.com
New songs and classics are continually produced every week, and they choose what songs to produce based on their members votes and suggestions.
