We did see a cross section of a dead one propped up in front of a gas station in an area where no tree has grown for a bizillion years. The plan was to go looking for something pretty today but instead we have him repairing all of our equipment and we aren't paying him. We were thinking of giving him something to eat as it has been a few weeks.

Someone needs to fly him out to Indiana right away--the boyfriend is now subjecting him to listening to him sing "Mac the Knife" under the guise of fine tuning the equipment.

We are trying to stay up so we can get him to the airport at 3:30 a.m. He, on the other hand, is calming his nerves for the flight and we fear we may have to wheel him in on a baggage cart. He bought two more 4-packs of Ranch. He won't be leaving us any Newcastle Brown.
He took 10 to 20,000 photos so as soon as there is time to sort through, we will post. No video but you will have to use your imagination.
Do we have any Dallas/Fort Worth hosts on here?

No one so far--Jerry has a 6 hour layover there and he is afraid he will fall asleep and miss his connection. He wanted someone to keep him up walking and talking.

Back in England. It was painful, another 25 hours duration. I had been awake 20 hours before the start of the 3 hour wait at Reno. Well before London I was praying for a terrorist to shoot me and put me out of my misery.
I ran out of money at Dallas (as planned) and planned getting duty free in London where there was an English ATM. (My bank, Barclay's were not totally honest with me. I could not withdraw in America. Thank you Paypal.) They would not let me buy anything at London, I had to be flying TO another country. Instead I was flying internal to Manchester. The fact that I flew in from the states was lost on them.
End result... Lep. thinks we could have covered more ground. I was really happy with what we did do. The karaoke show that both her and boyfriend does is a fun packed night that I thoroughly enjoyed each of the four times I attended. It was not about good sound and good singers although they WERE present. Their use of props have shown me how to improve things at my show. Oh and their discs... I saw them all. 100% legit.
From their crowd I got kisses, dances, telephone numbers and promises. Then the women started.
I have offered Lep. and boyfriend plane tickets to England but there must be something about my show they don't like. Either that or they are unable to leave their small holding because they have too many animals to look after. I told them the Coyote's would look after them but they are not convinced.

Wow, maybe they are hesitant cuz they can't get Ranch?

We are going to send Rip and Johnny Reverb in our place. We just can't get out of here at the moment. But don't forget all of those women at the Bunny Ranch you promised to fly over.
He is being too kind in his assessment of the visit. Photo proof to follow when we recover. But he was quite adaptable for any who want to host him in the future. Just keep him drunk. And you can add tacos to the Ranch as acceptable American food. He fed his Top Ramen to the chickens, however.
One thing he did comment upon was how polite the American drivers are. He obviously did not get to the right towns....but he asked me why I actually stopped at the Stop Signs even though no one was coming. Guess they don't stop for anything in England.
Too bad we didn't make it to San Francisco and a few days later as he could have had the promised earthquake. Our timing was off on everything, it seems.

We have lots of tailgaters and other obnoxious jerks on the roads in Kansas City if that will make Jerry feel any better about comparing English drivers to Americans...

I was in Virginia City. Had a beer in the Bucket of Blood. It is the only City I have seen with one main road. The drivers were so polite.

I'm going to Italy again next fall, can't afford two European vacations. I've drove in Chicago many times, New York, Houston, Indy, Louisville, Toronto and a few other major cities. As easy as it is to get sucked into road rage on this side of the pond, European (or at least Italians) make our drivers look like a bunch of 80 year olds driving down a 70 MPH road at 40.

I felt that way driving through France. I thought London was bad.
That picture is a gold mining hut next door to where Mark Twain used to work.
